"The Shoe House was the perfect stay for our anniversary. This is a historical gem you don’t want to miss! So much history and nostalgia exists within the property, it is on amazing grounds, and the hot tub is piping hot! Perfect for relaxing on a crisp fall night! Plus, how cool is it that you get to say you stayed in a shoe!!! The owners/host were super responsive, no issues with access, and the shoe had all of the amenities we needed and more! "This lovely property is located conveniently in Pa Amish country, less than half an hour from everywhere we needed to go. The salt waster pool was still heated and running, and the hot tub was so nice. We swam, hot tubbed, slept comfortably, enjoyed the kitchen and living room, and the property immensely. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. I'd recommend it and will stay there again when I come back to the area!"

"We had a great stay with our small family of 4, two kids ages 4 and 1. Check in was easy and host was responsive to all messages. Location was great for our time at Dutch wonderland and visit to cherry Crest farm. It was nice being close to a sheetz too. Home was very clean and kid friendly. The home is near a volunteer fire house so there is some risk of a overnight alarm, which did happen to us, but thankfully it only woke up my wife and I, and there was only one call. Definitely not a deal...

"Great place to stay. In a very nice quiet neighborhood, close to all the local attractions, and shopping. Martha is great hostess. The suite is very comfortable. We appreciated the snacks, water and soda, that were available to us. This was our second time staying here, and will definitely stay here again. Nice to be able to relax, and have a wonderful little getaway. "

"We came in Friday night for a wedding Saturday and had to leave Sunday morning, but the property is amazing. The notes on the round river rocks were a nice touch and my wife loved the tub and heated bathroom floor (this stay probably cost us more for our upcoming bathroom remodel). We would've liked to stay longer and explore the horse farm and some of the other things Lancaster has available. Don't hesitate to book. "
