"Beautifully appointed home on a beautiful lake in Woodstock, CT. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, visiting nearby orchards and hiking the many scenic trails nearby. Many great restaurants in the area as well. Although we did not partake, there is a great rail trail nearby for hiking, walking, etc. The home listing is very accurate, the kitchen is well equipped, and the cleanliness of the home is top notch. "The home was perfect for a weekend get away to come visit family. While we didn’t get to explore the town much it was so quaint and peaceful. The neighborhood was nice and friendly. The home offered what we needed and fun games to enjoy. Close to grocery shopping and restaurants. Only 30 minutes from the city and close to a fun Pumpkin Farm in Rhode Island.
