This is a riverside camping area on a very large grazing property. There are also 4 large pre-erected tents on wooden platforms with made-up queen-sized beds and additional single beds available, also lighting, camp chairs, portable gas stoves and campfire equipment.
The showers and toilets are clean, and there is hot water.
Bottled water is provide for drinking, but bring your own if you are making tea etc.
This is not 'glamping', but it is really great if you can't bring all your own gear, or don't want the hassle of setting up and cleaning if you are just passing through.
The staff are great and there are friendly dogs too. At least one of the horses really likes visitors.
Just a note about the river: it is broad and beautiful, but most of the time the water will be below the surface.
Highly recommended for a rural break.
