"Millie (my dog) and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in beautiful Dunolly… although we may have gained weight visiting the fantastic Dunolly bakery. The cottage was much more spacious than I expected with a beautiful dining area and spacious lounge. The bath was amazing but did take some time to reach an adequate level but having a wine in the front veranda helped pass the time. "Lovely property, renovated (but not "restored") to high standard but modern electricals (great wifi, TV) and kitchen/baths. Spacious home, multiple eating areas, quiet street, and with a terrific host. Maldon is a charming small town and well-located to see the goldfields area. Only downside is there are only a couple of places in the town proper to dine out (Castlemaine is close). But a great place with all creature comforts."

"What a wonderful place to stay. Enough room for everyone to have their own space. They have thought of everything. Probably best place I have stayed at. Beautifully decorated the house has so much charm you just want to move in. Would be great for family or bunch of friends to stay. Lots of room, wood heater really warmed the place up quickly.
