"Amazing 1840’s fully-renovated log cabin in downtown Frederick! We loved everything about it. The owner has thought of every last detail you would need for a getaway. The location is within walking distance or a short drive to the best in Frederick, right around the corner from Market Street, full of shops, restaurants & venues. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are all comfortable and the layout works perfectly. The owner is quick to respond and great to deal with. Highly recommend...

"We were very pleased with the area and the house. There was plenty of room for more than 8 people and we had 8. My only little complaints would be the old spices in the drawers (expired 2012), the small amount of dirt in the fireplace areas, and the low amount of time for hot water use during showers. All of these are easily over looked by the beauty of the views and of the spacious stone home. Our children loved the "hidden" bedroom upstairs and being able to run around and play hide and seek...

"Excellent, clean, handicap accessible home with everything you need right where you are. Wheelchair friendly, baby friendly, toddler friendly, kid friendly, adult friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back. On site pool, fire pit, play areas, lots of beautiful wildlife, etc. Host answered everything immediately and was so kind and helpful throughout booking and stay."

"This property is very large and welcomed us as a family of 12. The kitchen is stocked excellent! The owner was very nice to deal with and was very accommodating. The location is very close to town, which was great. I recommend this property to a large family as the home is larger than the photos suggest."

"Perfect place to rest, relax, read, whatever you want to do there. Central to many historic areas; 45 minutes to Gettysburg, 60-90 minutes to DC, 50-60 to Antietam, central to many others. Owners are awesome and very helpful. Place has about everything you need. Lots of wineries, breweries, restaurants, groceries within 20 to 30 minutes."

"We were looking for a central location to allow a walking weekend of downtown Frederick. The homes' location allowed us to walk over to the train station and then to Carroll Creek Parkway in minutes. All the main roads easily accessible to explore museums, visitors center, shops, arts and restaurants. The home was immaculate, fully accessorized and Danny, the host, was available for all questions or assistance."

"Felt more remote than it is, which is just what we wanted. Spent lots of time in the gazebo. Odd design so that light shines into bedrooms from other rooms at ceiling, but slept great anyway. Well stocked and clean, very comfortable. We would return for another family get-together."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Frederick at the renovated train depot. The place was well appointed, decorated in a fun, but trendy train theme. Checkin and out was super easy and being located right by the canal park made walking around in the historic area super easy. Our host made some great eating recommendations. We had lunch at The Wine Kitchen and our meals were delicious! Highly recommend checking out that spot if you come for a visit."

"We didn’t stay. We when arrived, instead of a room in the guest house, we were expected to stay in a tentlike structure. In addition, the bathroom facilities were outdoor showers and commodes that required a climb up a set of stairs. Luckily we were able to secure a room at another facility. The owner supposedly requested a refund for me but I haven’t heard whether this has been approved."
