Wedding Family Bed Down
This VRBO hosted me and 8 of my family members during a local wedding weekend packed with events in town. The 5Bed/Bath property was plenty. The house is roomy and we even played some billiards during our stay. Aside from a few finish-touches updates the house was great.we even used the 2-car garage to unload and load cars during the cold snowy weekend.

The house is big enough to accommodate a big family. However, the house NEEDS A LOT of updates. The rugs need to be replaced. I was told the house was cleaned but the countertops and tables felt sticky. The beds felt lumpy and old. The

Plenty of room, good location. However, The house was in rough condition, needs a deep cleaning, and lots of repair work. From the master bedroom light not working, to several cracked and broken door knobs, toilet lids, outlets, stains in the carpet, overflowing garbage in the garage...and the hot tub...WOW. While the hot tub may not have been listed as an available feature of the property...it was super nasty. Communication with the property manager was poor! The checkin process was a bit confusing. In my opinion, this property should not be listed for rent until it has been thoroughly cleaned and fixed up. I have discussed all these concerns with the property manager, once she called back after we checked out. Again, this house has potential, just needs a lot of work and TLC. Mike from Seattle, Wa

I arrived at the address at 11pm and went into the Vrbo app to get instructions. The instructions directed me to a link that looped and didn’t allow me to complete registration process. I called and the property manager (I am assuming) was trying to help me but wasn’t understanding the link she kept sending me 5 different times continued to not work. After sitting outside for 35 minutes they finally verbally gave me the door code. (Horrible experience): I flew in from out of town for the holidays and wanted to host a couple dinners. As soon as I booked the house I immediately reached out to the host to request that they put a Christmas tree up in the house and that I would pay additional for this to happen so that it was be festive for the holidays. The host agreed. We discussed a 6ft tree decorated with lights and ornaments. Upon my very late check in there was no tree in the house. I once again reached out to the host and they said “someone would be by Friday( the next day) with tree. Friday came and went and nothing. I replied again and host stated “we apologize we are working on it”. On Saturday night Amazon delivered a tree in a box not lights no decor while I was hosting a dinner. The next day I put the tree up and bought lights and ornaments. Had they just been honest and said they were not able to provide I would not have had expectations. Great space-2 pictures in the entire house, not enough towels- no kitchen towels- dirty carpet-did Not feel like home

A lot of potential
This house is big and a lot of the large alliances and future seems pretty new, including the BBQ. The pool table in the basement seems like it’s new, no cup stains on it, corner pockets are still firm, no cue stick markings on the wall. This house itself has a lot of potential even possible to make it more exclusive to responsible renters only to ensure items like the pool table stay new. However, it seemed Iike this house is a new rental due to lack of towels, cleaning supplies and kitchen utensils. It was bare bones in regards to these items. Usually with older rentals you’ll find many items leftover from other renters. I would suggest little things would make this rental 5 stars like just ordering basic house hold essentials from Costco and keeping the house stocked.
