"Quiet neighborhood with a rainforest like atmosphere. Covered outside area to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning and libations in the evening after a grand hike around the rim. The beds were soft. The gas fireplace was awesome on a rainy evening after dinner. This place was perfect for our stay and we would love to stay here again given the opportunity. "

"Beautiful view from our yurt, but it was not clear in the listing that the yurt had no running water or bathroom IN the yurt. We had a separate private bathroom a short distance from the yurt with 2 toilets, one being an incinerator type (A little complicated, but doable), a shower, and a sink. All dishes had to be taken from the yurt to the bathroom sink to wash them. There was bottled water in the yurt for drinking. Good refrigerator. "Honestly, the hostesses communication was flawless and the property was even better than the listing indicated. My wife and i had the time of our lives. The location felt very secluded and private and the weather was exactly what we needed. Proximity to VNP meant we could hike all day and then relax in the hot tub. Definitely would recommend."

"Here you will find a home surrounded by a beautiful garden with a very large covered deck overlooking the ocean to the west. Stunning sunrises, warm breezes, and a canopy of stars and the Milky Way at night uninhibited by city lights. The home is as described, but more. Comfortable, welcoming and everything you would need. "Great stay for exploring the southern part of Big Island. Our family loved the pool, well equipped kitchen, and location. I would definitely recommend staying here. Look in to booking through the rental agency as they do not complete anything in VRBO. This was the only downside as all the instructions and check in information was not easily found in the app and was emailed through a different address."

"The home worked great for us. Two adult couples visiting the island. We were looking for a place close to the national park. On the day we arrived, there was a torrential rain storm the entire day. The host was able to get us into the house early which was super helpful since touring was not an option. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing cards to pass the day. Beautiful landscaping. Lots of room. And the full size washer/dryer was much appreciated. "
