"In short, our stay was great! The home overlooks lake isabella and the mountains behind it. Gorgeous 😍. 20 minutes up the road is Alta sierra, a ski slope. 2 hours from there is the trail of 100 giants. Great location. Wood interior of the house is beautiful. Cookware is limited, but still able to make a fabulous dinner. Recommend allergy medicine as the dirt generates dust and pollen from the trees. "It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra. We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered. Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....

"This cottage is a short walk from the town square. The property has grills and a hot tub. There are areas to hang out both indoors and out. The property is fun to explore. Our infant slept soundly in the bedroom while we played cards outside or sat in the hot tub. The hot tub is within range for our video baby monitor. Some board games would be a nice addition to this space. This is a nice spot to relax and would be a great space for gatherings - particularly if you could snag other spots on...

"We stayed during a very hot month of July but once we got the A/C and fans going it was more tolerable. The home was so adorable and super clean. Felt like we were glamping with the exterior amenities of camping and interior amenities of home. Very happy with this quaint and cozy place."
