Have the ultimate Rocky Mountain experience when you stay at this amazing ski-in/ski-out Winter Park Resort vacation rental. Outfitted with all the modern comforts of home, this marvelous unit is perfect for your Colorado mountain retreat. The newly remodeled 2 bedroom/2 bath condo sleeps up to 6 PEOPLE, with enough room to spread out comfortably in this impressive 1200 square feet of luxuriously appointed living space, which includes 1 KING BED, 1 QUEEN BED, 1 QUEEN SLEEPER SOFA, 1 SLEEPER FUTON PAD FOR A CHILD/TEEN AND A PACK & PLAY PORTABLE CRIB.

Starting April 29th and lasting until Ski Season starts in November there will be construction ongoing in the common courtyard where the hot tub is located as the complex is working on replacing the hot tubs. Work will be happening daily Monday – Saturday 7AM – 7PM. The community hot tubs in the complex will be closed in result, and there will likely be construction noises throughout the day which may be heard from inside the property. We will not be providing any compensation for the lack of hot tubs or the noises and burdens in the area caused by the construction, and have already priced the property accordingly with lower rates to account for the inconvenience. It is anticipated that this project will be completed prior to the 2024/2025 ski season. We appreciate your patience and understanding while this crucial work happens, and we look forward to the brand new hot tubs that will be available in the upcoming ski season!

This condo has absolutely the best location and views available, situated right in the middle of Winter Park Resort's new base village, just a few steps away from all the various activities throughout the year. This includes skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, AND IS ONLY A 3 MINUTE WALK FROM THE LOBBY TO THE NEW ZEPHYR 10 PERSON GONDOLA.

This rare premium second floor front corner unit is one of the nicest condos in the building and is very private with a separate entrance to the village sidewalk, and includes additional windows and a large covered deck that frames the amazing views. This welcoming home is very "family friendly" with several upgraded features that other rentals in the area don't offer, including a completely equipped chef's kitchen, wall mounted HD smart TV's to stream your favorite online apps including Netflix's, You Tube and Hulu, a large assortment of board games, an Amazon Alexa for hospitality speaker to provide you with your own virtual personal concierge, locally roasted gourmet coffee, door pad for keyless secure entry with 24 hour check in, blue tooth speaker for streaming your favorite playlist, FREE wireless high speed internet, premium bedding, portable crib, booster chair with tray, and completely stocked with everything you need including organic 5 star hotel quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion.

This exceptional condo is situated within the wonderful Founders Pointe building, allowing guests to enjoy fabulous amenities, including a heated underground parking garage (the resort charges a separate daily parking fee during the ski season & a one-time service fee outside of ski season which is not included), secure bike storage, a FREE private ski locker room, a beautiful lobby living room with a 2 story fireplace, and a 3rd floor outdoor amenities plaza with incredible views, featuring a huge 40 person hot tub, double sided gas fire place, lounge chairs/tables, and a gas grilling station.

The resort village also offers several summer attractions including Trestle, one of North America's largest mountain bike parks, an alpine slide, mini golf, human maze, zip line, gyro extreme, disc golf, rock climbing wall, bungee trampolines, gold panning, and bouncy house. There is also a fantastic new rec center just down the road, that has multiple swimming pools, waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, outdoor playground and gymnasiums.

The Town of Winter Park is only a 5 minute drive or FREE shuttle away, with additional mountain restaurants, shopping, night life and various scheduled events and activities at the new Hideaway Park amphitheater. This unit was clean and had a well stock kitchen with most everything you need to prepare meals. It was convenient to the Winter Park base area and all it had to offer. That said, the beds and the living room furniture were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Renters should also be aware that this unit it is at the furthest point from the elevator...a long hike in ski boots.

2024 winter park trip
Our stay was not as care free as I wished it had been. The refrigerator was so loud we had to unplug it at night to sleep. The facility already knew about the problem, but did not fix it while we were there. The first evening we asked for some blankets and pillows, they arrived two days later. The beds are pretty firm, like sleeping on the floor. The beds also squeak everytime you move. These are all minor things, but combined make for a less than desirable experience. Great location, just across the street from the main lift. I honestly think the biggest problem is that there is no front desk or staff present in the building.

Great View and Easy Walk to the Gondola
Our family of 5 enjoyed this rental. It was very clean and the perfect size for a family of 5. The views of the mountainside and the resort from the room were incredible. I was worried that it wasn't directly ski in / ski out on the mountainside. It wasn't an issue at all. It is a very short walk to the Gondola, and the Winter Park resort provides free use of a red wagon. We would put all our ski gear in and take it to the Gondola. It was a great location to get into the village area for meals and drinks. We would stay here again.

Very Clean, Great Location!!
Everything about this property and our stay there was great. The unit was in great condition, it felt like a true home away from home. The views of the village and the resort were awesome and it was literally steps away from the village. The only minor challenge was accessing the parking garage on occasion. We would certainly put it on our list of places to stay again in the future!!

Great apartment thin walls
Great apartment that is close to lifts and village. Walls are super thin though so you literally here everything going on in the apartment next door. Also it’s very noisy on the street due to heavy machinery cleaning the road and parking lot every morning at about 5:30 am. Don’t expect to sleep in quiet. Otherwise the apartment was good and worked well for our family of 5.

Don’t let plumbers stop you from a great condo!
Founders Pointe is in a Great location. Great parking Great Support staff by telephone. Tue HOA & owners need to help one another by including a plumbing maintenance plan into their budget. Our two bath was beautiful but the guest bath tub drain did not work. The manager Daniel and his assistant Did everything they could to make our stay amazing and fun! Five of us used one bath tub and shower in the master bdrm . We were all happy and never inconvenienced. We encourage the unit owners to work with the management staff at founders because they have a beautiful resort . W

Great Views and Location — one of the best rentals we have had!
My family really loved this location — there are several nice hikes close by and it is just across the road from Trestle, restaurants, and the Gondola. The condo was clean and well kept. Kitchen is small but tidy, bathrooms are in VERY GOOD condition, with good quality towels. The rooms are comfortable. There is no AC but fans in the windows help a lot — especially at night. The listing does leave out the fact that the huge hot tub is not in working condition and, I found from talking to another owner, it will not be for quite some time due to a leak they have not been able to repair for more than a year. There is another, smaller hot tub on the adjacent property, but you have go across the connected parking garage to get there. The other issue is the advertised “access” to the pool. It is not in walking distance and, though nice, it is not free. It is about a 5-10 minute drive into Fraser. You will get one adult pass per day, but there is a fee to enter otherwise. Due to Covid restrictions they only allow 50 people in the pool area at any time, so plan to arrive early. I would 100% rent this property or a similar unit in the building again — the views and balcony make these corner units special.

Great location for family ski trip
Our family came for a few days of skiing and relaxing. This home was even closer then we expected to the slopes (including ski school) as well as to dining. Despite restaurants not being allowed to have dine-in customers currently, we were able to access several great restaurants for take-out in a quick five minute walk. Would definitely stay here again! This home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Very Nice and Comfortable
We very much enjoyed the unit. Spacious and comfortable. We would stay there again. The cleaning service could do a better job of vacuuming and general cleaning, but there was nothing gross. It's a long walk around to the elevator, but the view and room location is great once you get there. I would stay again.

Not ski in/ski out but nice condo overall
This is not a ski in/ski out property, however it is centrally located at the base village. There is about a 10 minute walk from this condo to the gondola and lifts (carrying your skis). The condo looks just like the photos and was the perfect size for 3-4 people. The property management company uses an easy app to provide all of the check in details. Parking is an additional daily cost but it’s really convenient. Despite it not being ski in/ski out I would recommend this condo and would stay here again.
