Ɩur Cabin was originally built in 1979 using the butt-and pass method with full logs. In 2022 the Magnuson family fully renovated the cabin, transforming into a modernized luxury property. They diligently pursued a vision to bring the cabin back to life. Today, Ɩur Cabin captures all the charm of the Northwoods, while bringing in the indulgences of upscale living. This lake property includes a hot tub, gas grill, kayaks, 10-person pontoon boat (add-on cost), fishing gear, life vests, campfire wood, propane fire pit, as well as a traditional campfire pit for all those S'more lovers. Inside the cabin, you will find a fully equipped contemporary kitchen with brand-new high-end appliances. The bathroom was designed to create the full spa experience! The 72" deep soaking tub, rain fall showerhead, and heated floor kept at 95 degrees are a sure way to wind down from everyday stresses. Each bedroom has a Serta Perfect Sleeper king bed with down comforters and 1000 thread count luxury bedding. Both rooms also include ceiling fans, Ruko smart TVs, and USB charging nightstands. The living room brings in the warmth and coziness with a beautiful gas fireplace constructed with local stone from a nearby quarry. The reclining furniture set allows you to adjust to the perfect comfort level, kick back, and log into your personal preferred TV app of choice using the Smart TV. The Cabin is equipped with a full size Maytag washer and dryer for your laundering needs. Ɩur Cabin is very close to excellent Northwoods dining and tavern locations. Dix's Chalet, a quick 0.8 miles away, offers fine dining options, as well as good old fashioned Wisconsin Fish Fry. The Rustic Lodge, 0.6 miles away, provides the perfect atmosphere to grab a burger and beer after a day on the lake. Lakewood Cafe serves up an all-American breakfast and opens at 7a.m. Winter, WI is an awesome place for trail riding, whether it be snowmobile, ATV, or UTV - this property has access to the Tuscobia Trail!

Our Cabin

Very nice, cozy updated, clean cabin. We checked in with Eric a couple times, he was very pleasant. Only issue we had was google maps took us to a different location a few times when we were checking in. Eric helped us find Our Cabin right away.We went to fish and were very successful. We had fun catching a few big ones and a lot of small ones.It was a very relaxing wonderful vacation staying at Our Cabin!

Like Lake Winter, which is a "Class A" Musky fishing lake, the stay at this property was top class. Excellent location, private & quiet, easy access to lake and close to town for supplies or dinner.

Perfect Christmas Family Getaway

This was a perfect 5 day Christmas getaway for our busy family. We were able to unwind, relax and enjoy our time here. Eric and family were wonderful from the booking, to check in to checkout. Communication was top notch! We were even provided areas on the lake to ice fish (and had success)! My boys have asked to go back already! All details inside and out were very thoughtful and beautiful. We will definitely be back. Thank you Eric and family for sharing your beautiful place.

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend and the place is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. Its by far the cleanest rental we've stayed at, eket you'd expect at a nice hotel. Beautiful fall colors enjoyed while kayaking and stargazing all night!

Anniversary Getaway

This is one of the nicest VRBO's we have stayed at - by far! The hosts are very friendly and thoughtful, and very quick to respond. The interior of the cabin is homey, beautifully decorated, and squeaky clean! We spent hours by the fire table, looking out at the lake, and the geese provided lovely morning and evening concerts. We enjoyed every minute!

2 nights was not long enough!

First of all, the communication with the host was quick and always very informative. Eric was extremely helpful and gave many ideas for food and things to do while my wife and I were staying at the rental. When we arrived at the house, we were in awe over the beauty of the property. Everything was taken into consideration, from the gorgeous lighting around the fire pit to the heated floors in the bathroom. I have nothing negative to say about the property or the host. We had an incredible stay, and we will definitely be returning in the future!

Immaculate and Luxurious

The owners of this place thought of everything! The amenities and environment are spectacular. From the ambience of the outdoor lights in the trees to create a fairytale space to the gorgeous fireplace and large bathtub inside. Wonderful UTV trip.

Cabin is absolutely as advertised. Luxurious and private. Best North woods VRBO. Booked for a weekend UTV trip. Location is perfect to ride the Dead horse trail one day, then ride the Tuscobia trail the next and can ride to Birchwood etc. Very easy trail access. Eric was a super host, answered any questions quickly and also shared some recommendations on fishing and favorite places for lunch etc.

Beautiful Cabin with all you need

This cabin is so beautiful and tucked away in the woods for a quiet retreat. The remodeling that was done to the cabin is amazing and everything from the tile work and heated bathroom floor to the amethyst light make it extra special. King beds very comfy and plenty of meal prep and seating room at the large island. There is so much to do outside from kayaks and the pontoon to cooking smores over the campfire and then enjoying a late-night dip in the hot tub. Love this place and would highly recommend it. Perfect Northwoods Cabin!

Perfect extended weekend for our family of four. Eric truly makes ā€œOur Cabinā€ feel like your cabin for your stay. Plenty to do and explore outside during the day and then coming inside to relax with the updates finished makes you feel like youā€™re not in the woods anymore. Eric is a top notch host and answered questions before and during the trip to help make it special as well as met us the first night to give us a tour of the lake and make sure everything was ready. The rental of the pontoon is a very affordable upgrade the helped put the finishing touches on a great weekend.

Beautiful Get Away

My wife and I stayed at the cabin for 5 nights. We had just finished our third (of 5) child's graduation party and the cabin was a welcome retreat from the busy time at home. Very quiet and tucked away with beautiful views of the lake and sunrise, we enjoyed the large windows. The hot tub was fantastic with multiple different settings to choose from and the use of the kayaks was a welcome benefit that we took advantage of. The inside of the cabin is extremely well kept with the roku TVs, beautiful bathroom space, and updated kitchen. The high speed internet had great signal and was very reliable. Overall we had a wonderful time and definitely are considering returning.

Fantastic

Our stay here was wonderful. The house is beautiful and the owners have done a great job mixing modern amenities and old cabin charm. Everything you need is there and then some. Beds are super comfortable and the bedding is hotel quality. Furniture is so comfortable the fireplace is very unique. The lot is private and very large with so much lakefront. Nice dock and lots of kayaks to use. There is also a nice fire pit area and screened in area with outdoor couches. Thank you to the owners for sharing a book that tells the story of their renovation of the property. There is a nice hot tub but unfortunately we did not find time to use it. Will stay again!

Quietly, beautifully connected to nature, and the internet

Imagine a real log cabin from th early 1900s, but with 21st century electronics and comfort, on the shore of a lake footsteps away, with a dock, kayaks, and a hottub next to a covered patio, and outdoor lighting strung through the trees. No need to imagine. It is here. We felt like we were the only ones on the lake. No other homes or docks were visible, other than the evidenced of life across the water. My only regret is that we eventually had to leave. We definitely will be back. Eric and Linda took care of everything. This would be an awesome place to write a novel. It's like going back in time, but with wireless and super cool lighting and fans, and a heated bathroom floor with a rainhead shower. Somebody pinch me, maybe I dreamed the whole thing. Just kidding. It's real. You'll love this place. Awesome digital welcom book with maps of where, and where not to kayak.

Amazing! Luxury on own private island!

This place was amazing! Everything was so well decorated and the bathroom was something out of a magazine. This would be a great place for a girls weekend, couples getaway, or a get away for a small family. We basically had our own lakefront island. There was a fire pit and plenty of wood. The hot tub was great and the beds were huge and comfortable. We will definitely be booking again!
