Come enjoy our lovely home. We are 5 miles from Mt.Snow and 20 minutes from Stratton mountain. All roads are paved blacktop easy drive to mt snow mountain. We are three miles from the quaint town of Wilmingtonj. Our home is a one bedroom one bathroom with the additional pull out couch that comfortably sleeps four. There is a cozy wood stove also a hot tub to relax in. There are plenty of fine restaurants close for your enjoyment. We are close to everything Come enjoy Vermont.

Date weekend for older folks

We don't need much and that was mostly fine. It's private enough and who cares how cobbled together it is? We sure don't. The hot tub, though. That was the main draw, it was a must. We couldn't even use it past maybe 5:00 Saturday. The amount of bleach in there made us both extremely itchy and my husband ended up with a red bumpy rash. It took four showers to wash off the smell of bleach. Plus, it was about ten degrees cooler than it should be. Hot tubs should be about 100Ā° and yours was steady at 90Ā°. I had goosebumps in there! So. We made the most of it and had fun, but the hot tub situation was a real drag.

Cozy Cabin

Had a great stay, my two sons loved the hot tub. We also loved the wood stove. Great for a quick two day ski trip to Mount Snow.

****SAFETY WARNING-EXTREME MOLD****

There is a ton of mold in this property. You can smell it before you even open the door. Do not stay here as this can do so serious damage to your health. My sister and I immediately left the property and contacted the host to let her know we were leaving and the reason why. She proceeded to tell me should would call me the next day but did not, which come to find out you have 24 hours to get your money back from VRBO if you contact them directly. She knew that by pretending she was going to act professionally that I would not contact VRBO and therefore she would get her money. She even went as far as to ignore VRBO when they contacted her to give me a refund. Please do not stay here!!!!!

Little cabin with jacuzzi close to Mount Snow

Nice little cabin near Mount Snow. Great for a weekend. We really appreciated the private jacuzzi. It could have been warmer (weather was cold and it was hard to get the cabin warm, even with the help of the hood stove). There was everything to cook a good dinner (stove, pans, big fridge) but there were only 2 chairs and a small table inside (so a bit tight for a family of 4).

2nd time coming

This was our second year staying at Karenā€™s cabin and we loved it. Karenā€™s cabin is clean, cozy, and conveniently located near Mt Snow. The cabin is also very close to many restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. The hot tub is clean and enclosed outside for extra privacy (and warmth) Karen is a wonderful host. She is quick to answer her phone and knows a great deal about the area. We hope to make it back next year!

Ski escape

Perfectly located. Was looking for solitude with a touch of local outdoor adventures. Conveniently located near great ski resorts. The cabin itself was wonderful. Definitely happy with the stay and would love to stay again.

Disappointed

The rental did meet our expectations. The photos were deceiving. There was exposed electric in the bathroom at the sink, there was no bathroom door (just a curtain), exposed nails in the bedroom doorway, all the plumbing was exposed outside of the painted plywood shower wall. There was no firewood for the wood-stove as advertised, and the stove pipe is hooked up backwards. It was also very dusty and there were cobwebs in the corners and on lamps.

Winter Weekend Getaway

The property was quaint and like stated. We enjoyed using the fireplace. We unfortunately were sad that the hot tub was in a covered tent, that gave us weird Dexter killer vibes so we did not use it as we wanted to be in the open outdoors. Wish that was stated in the listing as the hot tub was the main reason for staying here. Also, the place needs a serious dusting! We had to keep the windows open at all times as I was stuffed-up the entire weekend. The fan is covered in dust (never been dusted before for sure), pictures frames, and even the tables by the bedside were all dusty. Aside that, the place was cozy.

Property was great. The location to mount snow was so close. We enjoyed a great meal in Wilmington the first night. Unfortunately there was an artic freeze that weekend we left a day early.

Cozy & near the mountain

Very cute & cozy cabin close to Mount Snow. Near restaurants and small grocery store. So nice to come back from the mountain and wind down by the wood stove and in the hot tub. Lots of amenities including full kitchen with cookware, etc. Coffee pot and all the fixings. We had dinner at The Anchor one night which was great. Owners of property were very communicative and responsive. Clean and tidy with sheets and towels provided.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Prefect little house for a weekend getaway. Quiet, clean, super cozy and the hot tub was awesome. Only cons were that the bed could have been more comfortable and the stand up shower was pretty small and very ā€œrusticā€.

Private get away with hot tub

Nice cabin as described. Quiet area, lots of stars in the sky. Remember no AC if you are there in the summer. The hot tub is very private out the bedroom door. Owner is easy to contact. I forgot a small bag and they offered to mail it which is very nice.

Cozy Mountain Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying in this cozy cabin! The check in was easy and we were pleasantly surprised to find a fire burning in the wood stove when we arrived, such a thoughtful touch! Very close to mount snow and downtown Wilmington/Dover.
