"Everything about this house easily met our needs. Beds were comfortable and the home lived up to the reputation for beautiful views. While the sound of the highway was audible it was not bad and the white noise machine just made it sound like we were near a river. My Prius didn’t care for the steep driveway so we parked on the street but we had no trouble getting a spot next to the driveway. "

I really appreciated the gas stove and a frying pan that you could actually use for cooking. I would highly recommend this house to people staying in the Salem area although it is only an hour from Portland. So it might be an option for that as well. We found the original pancake house.
