"Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!"

"We stayed 6 Nights and found a cottage with very modern furniture, all you Need in the kitchen, own BBQ Grill Outside including Picnic Area. Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever you seek- you are able to totally relax and disconnect or connect via the net. The Host family is Nice and live also on the ground in case you Need anything. "Park Cottage is set in a lovely location in Cally Woods (so many great walks and cycle opportunities). Also with use of the Cally Palace Hotel facilities including the swimming pool. However the house was unclean, especially the kitchen with unusable pans and not enough cutlery to sit 9 people in one setting. There was black mould on the downstairs bathroom ceiling. Such a shame as the cottage is a great space for families and could be lovely, but when I have fed back about these issues I have...
