"Received a wonderful greeting upon check in by Dawn, was very informative and friendly, making (very late) check in a breeze.
The room was specious and clean. We travelled as a family of 3, and had plenty of room.
Breakfast was plentiful and all areas were cleaned and maintained to a high standard throughout. As soon as dishes were finished with, the staff were quickly removing and cleaning tables.
Would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family and will 100% be visiting again.

"The hotel and its surroundings were truly picturesque. The rooms were spotless, and while the restaurant offered a limited selection, the overall experience was pleasant. However, one concern was the presence of dead flies on the restaurant’s window sill. Given the warm weather, this issue should have been addressed promptly to maintain cleanliness

"Lovely hotel, great facilities and nice surroundings. We tried Bennett’s restaurant for our evening meal, the food was very disappointing. The breakfast was nice however. Prices were reasonable. Our room was lovely and in good condition but too warm with no aircon. The gym and pool were excellent. "

"Reservei 2 quartos nesse hotel, confiando na marca mercure. Infelizmente, fiquei frustrada. O hotel é lindo e glamuroso, mas está mal cuidado. Tem muitas infiltrações e cheiro de mofo nos corredores. Os quartos são quentes, sem ar-condicionado, mesmo constando no anúncio do hoteis.com que os quartos dispunham de ar condicionado. Os colchões devem estar mal higienizados, possivelmente, com ácaros, pois tive muita coceira todas as noites, ao deitar na cama. O café é simples porém satisfatório....

"Arrived at 10am, popped in to register car and offered to see if our rooms were ready so had early check in at no cost.
Hotel had a wedding on later in day but did not notice any noise, room was very quiet allowing for a good nights sleep."
