"The location is very nice, next to the beach. There is quite a lot of traffic during the day which is an issue since the road is right next to the house and the insulation is quite poor. It took a while to figure out things like wifi, using the shower, how the central heating works etc because sadly there were no instructions. Some of the towels were very dirty. Also there was no soap, shampoo or hand wash. Outside the kitchen door there was a broken piece of plastic which made a lot of noise...

"This is a fantastic rental for anyone wanting to stay in the Dublin area, but in a quieter neighborhood outside of the city. It is a short walk to the train station for getting into Dublin, but also close to two small local towns that have all the amenities anyone could need. "Oonagh was fabulous with communicating before, during and after our stay. Her home was as described and very clean. She and her family were very generous with their hospitality. Our Shi-Tzu, Teddy, was made very welcome and we also enjoyed the company of Salem and Poppy. The location is perfect for exploring both Dublin and the beautiful Wicklow hills. We look forward to having another opportunity to spend time in Oonagh's lovely home."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Nook even though it was a quick visit for one night. Patrick was very helpful throughout the entire experience and even let us use his personal freezer to store some items. The house was lovely along with the grounds/landscaping. "We were three friends who needed a break and an overdue catch up. The 4 bedroom lodge was perfect size for us, and the facilities were great. As we planned to stay in, the log fire was a bonus. It would have been good to have more TV channels, especially the local ones. Another suggestion would be to have 2 single beds in one of the rooms upstairs that could be pushed together to make a larger bed. We were there in November and really enjoyed our stay and we all agreed the large outside space...

"A fabulous stay in one of the most beautiful locations. The pool and spa area here is really lovely with dark, obsidian feel. The food is lovely and the bar looks out across the Powerscourt estate to the Sugar Loaf hill. The service is impeccable and the rooms are huge and well appointed. Staff so friendly and welcoming.
