"Talk about a gem, I so enjoyed staying at this property! It was clean & refreshing inside with plenty of room for 4 guests to relax. We were able to cook a few meals in the well appointed kitchen that was very spacious. I would definitely stay at this property again."

"This is a beautiful and hidden asset, a lovely wooded ledge upslope from the Maumee River. Riverwood is at the base of low bluffs overlooking the river and consists of about a dozen cabins and smaller houses, almost all for short-stay rental. The host is a hilarious, friendly guide who through jokes, photo-taking and storytelling imparts a sense of the easygoing, vacationing atmosphere that's well supported at this hidden old-time fishing camp. "The room wasn’t exactly like the picture, pretty basic. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. There was a Keurig coffee maker but no coffee. No temperature gauge and the room cold outside the covers. Check in was simple, I was contacted by the owner through email when I arrived, they seemed helpful. Not a bad place if creature comforts aren’t important!"

"The house was beautiful. The only thing I was disappointed about it should have been cleaned. Spider webs on bathroom walls and light. Dirt on ceiling fans. Dust on stairway and on floor in one bedroom. Stove top was dirty and had to be cleaned before I could have used it. Recliner in living room wasn't working. It felt like I was inside a tunnel to take a shower in upstairs bathroom due to the shower curtain that was around you. Other than that we loved the privacy and the family being there...

"Great house- everything was perfect. For future guests- the kitchen light switch took us forever to find especially when you arrive at night. In the morning we found the light switch to be buried on the side of the refrigerator. Other then that- the house is highly recommended. "
