DETAILS: Stay on the banks of Whitefish River at Landing A, a luxury Whitefish condo with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, sleeping 8. From hiking and skiing the slopes of Big Mountain to exploring the historic downtown—adventure and fun never run out in this famous mountain town. Located 1 minute from Whitefish Lake and City Beach and only a 10-minute drive from Whitefish Mountain Resort, this community’s amenities include a wood-burning firepit and river access. Guests will love this 3-story unit with a fireplace and private hot tub!
Step inside to find an inviting entryway outfitted with a long bench and plenty of cubbies and hooks to store ski gear and Winter accessories. Tucked into a cozy alcove at the end of the hall is a twin-over-twin bunk bed—perfect for guests who don’t mind a shared space.

Head upstairs to the second level, where the open living, dining, and kitchen areas await. The chef of the group will enjoy the Bosch appliances and granite countertops in the fully equipped kitchen. There is seating for 8 at the reclaimed wood dining table, with 4 additional spots at the bar. Curl up on the leather sofa in front of the fireplace to defrost after a day of Winter sports and exploration. On the balcony is a grill for guests who desire a barbecue cookout and gorgeous river views. The primary bedroom is on this floor and has a king bed, patio, and private bathroom.

On the top level, spend an evening soaking in the hot tub while savoring the breathtaking views from the riverfront balcony. Completing the floor are 2 comfortable guest bedrooms with queen beds.

No matter the season, Landing A in Whitefish is the ultimate base for a Whitefish vacation. Parking for 1 vehicle makes it easy to explore. For guests who prefer to walk, there is a trail to downtown Whitefish from the community. Book this Montana getaway today!

Great Peaceful Place
My coworker and I enjoyed staying at the condo at The Landing. The place was clean, cozy, and had ample amenities for the most part. I could not find an iron nor ironing board. It also would have been nice to have a broom and vacuum available to clean the mud spray ( rain hitting the ground off the edge of the front porch caused mud to splash on the entry area) off the front porch area and keep the downstairs entry area and living area floors clean. Overall a great place to stay that is close to downtown Whitefish.

Glacier and Lakes Get Away
Everything you read about this property is right on, it’s clean , fresh and comfortable. We walked minutes to the beach and 15 minutes to downtown. If you kayak or paddle board it’s outside the door every day. This does not disappoint, thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your property!

Shredfish 2023
This was the first year that we planned a ski trip with friends and this VRBO was perfect for our group! Everyone got their own room/private space, we were able to cook dinner most nights, enjoyed playing card games and going in the hot tub!

We had a great stay at this Whitefish townhouse. Beautiful view, convenient location, comfortable furnishings, and most importantly very clean. We had a hiccup at checkin, but staff was easy to get a hold of and communicated quickly via text. We would definitely stay there again.

Inconsiderate Owner, Huge Inconvenience to Guests
CONS: Completely inconsiderate owner and a huge lack of problem solving. Loud train whistles all day & all night, no garage use, long cold walk to public parking for 2nd car. Nothing quite like paying for a week’s worth of groceries right before checking in only to receive a text alerting that the refrigerator is broken. The one who discovered the issue wasn’t a guest but the actual owner of the unit that stayed there the week before us. We arrived on a Monday and were told that the new fridge would be delivered Friday. I was not thrilled BUT I’m just Minnesota Nice enough to not mention the inconvenience. But no one arranged for coolers to be dropped off (I had to ask for one) nor was a mini fridge purchased as a hold over. No solutions or apologies. Then comes delivery day. The owner decided she needed all new appliances even though the others worked fine and she had all of them delivered during OUR stay. By the end of the day, we were sharing the living space with the new, uninstalled stove and dishwasher, along with the old fridge chilling on the balcony. There are 6 perfectly good hours between check-ins that they all could have been delivered or a different storage solution offered. My in-laws, who were having their first ever VRBO experience, had to deal with the delivery company while watching our toddler for the day. I’m so extremely disappointed in how this was handled for what is called a “Luxury” vacation rental. First, we got no warning and were left to figure out on our own what to do with our perishables. Second, the owner shouldn’t have arranged for so many appliances to be delivered during a guest’s stay. It’s just rude. We’re trying to escape household worries. A mini fridge would’ve sufficed for our week had we got enough warning. She has a garage and the extra appliances could have been stored there but she didn’t leave a key with the property management. Third, we completely lost privacy of the unit for a day and no longer felt like our daughter was safe with extra appliances marked “tipping hazard” for the last 3 days. PROS: The kitchen was more well stocked, spices etc. The furniture, linens, and construction of the unit were all very nice and did align with the “luxury” term. Management responded promptly to a clogged drain, lent us a cooler, got the delivery company to move the extra fridge to the deck, and 3 days (only the daily rent portion) refunded.

Amazing location, even better house!!
The location is perfect if you are staying i. Whitefish! You are out of downtown but only about a mile walking on a really nice city beach walk path which is a really enjoyable walk! Also a close drive to the mountain. Honestly, it was perfect and the house was so nice and so clean! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Great Vacation!
The property was in a perfect location, secluded and peaceful but close to town and activities. Myself and my 4 sisters stayed here for our yearly vacation. We enjoyed being able to walk to town to shop or dine out. We visit Glacier Park and Whitefish Mountain Resort. The city beach is also within walking distance and we enjoyed that several days. All around one of the best rentals we stayed at except it could have used a deep cleaning, just not surface clean. Our host was excellent, can’t say enough about her.

Great place as far as location. Management was helpful when we needed anything. One thing to note, no access to the garage, and you only get one parking place in front of the condo. Not a big deal since street parking was close, but FYI

We really enjoyed our stay there. It was pretty much as advertised. Good supply of our needs. A couple minor issues that hopefully manager will fix. To make it really over the top. IT is a little close to a busy BN Rail track. I had no problems, but others did with the noise, but they enjoyed viewing the trains

This condo is perfect! Everything you need. Quiet location yet close to everything and within walking distance to Whitefish Lake and the town. The location also made it very easy to do day trips to Glacier and surrounding areas! Being in the river is also relaxing and many activities to do! Thank you for a great place!

Great location, although not on the lake you are are three minute walk, and the river is both beautiful and incredibly relaxing, especially since the location is tuck in a corner where the only people you see are those coming to the unit. Inside was immaculate, everything is brand new, and the house was well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. The owners were great, even with a late arrival and an early departure. Also, they adjusted their schedule to accommodate us given the COVID situation for which we are extremely appreciative. Hopeful will be back as Whitefish and Glacier were amazing and this place was a great place to stay while enjoying Montana.

Centrally Located Whitefish Getaway
Overall we were very happy with this property. We had two families staying in the townhouse with had 4 kids between ages of 4 and 10. The most important thing to note is that this property is right next to the train tracks and the train station. The train comes into town LITERALLY 50 times over the course of the day and night. Every time a train comes it honks multiple times. And as trains pass, the entire townhouse shakes for a good while (kind of like a gentle earthquake). This is not a property for anyone who is noise sensitive. However, the property was well stocked and the furnishings and materials of the unit were nice and updated. The location is fantastic and centrally located to town, the lake, Big Mountain, and Glacier. The property has 3 different levels so there was quite a bit of up and down flights of stairs. We really enjoyed the fire pit and easy parking. Overall it was pretty clean, however it could use a deep cleaning (shower curtain and tub had mildew on it, the floors made our kids feet black after showers, and things were just a bit grimy). Additionally, the property manager requested that we allow in window washers, pest sprayers, and realtors to show the unit all during our 4 day stay!! I politely requested that they take care of these maintenance and sales tasks after our visit and they did facilitate that. Still, for the cost of the unit and during Covid, we were surprised and annoyed to have to deal with that. Overall the property worked well for our families and we had a good stay.
