Situated on an elevated lot off of Wood Run Drive high above the base lodge and looking out over the valley below and across at Great Northern Mountain you can’t miss this eye catching property including it’s local Glacier Stone and reclaimed barnwood siding from a 100 year old homestead in Southern Alberta Canada.
With seven bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, our Haus can accommodate up to 22 guests, making it the perfect choice for large families or groups of friends. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated with mountain modern furnishings and incredibly comfortable beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day on the slopes, downtown Whitefish Montana or in Glacier National Park.
After a day of skiing, relax and unwind in our hot tub or dry sauna, perfect for soothing sore muscles and warming up on chilly nights. The spacious living area features a toasty warm fireplace and comfortable seating, providing the perfect setting for quality time with loved ones.
The Main Floor offers a fully equipped gourmet kitchen that makes cooking a pleasure, with modern chef-ready stainless steel appliances complete with 3 ovens, 2 dishwashers and a massive fridge / freezer and plenty of counter space for meal preparation. And with a spacious dining table with seating for 16, everyone can gather together for a delicious home-cooked meal.

The Top Floor features two very luxurious, private and spacious Master Bedrooms each with king beds, a private walk-in closet and en-suite oversized bathrooms with heated flooring. The Slopeside Master bedroom has been described as “The Best View on Big Mountain” by Whitefish Mountain resort’s CEO. It has a huge walk-in shower, spacious walk in closet, a 5th floor Inspiration Loft with spiral staircase access. The Mountainside Master bedroom provides mountain views and a relaxing soaker tub. The top floor provides a loft gathering area between master bedrooms with a sleeper sofa that can sleep up to 2 people, perfect for families with kids. The top floor also provides a full-size washer and dryer laundry room.
The Middle Floor has 3 private bedrooms, a large (4) queen over queen bunk beds and entertainment room. There are 2 slope facing back bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen. The 3rd bedroom has 3 full size triple bunk beds. The entertainment room has a large couch with seating for 6, a 70 inch TV, DVD player and a PlayStation. This room is the ultimate kid and teenager hangout. There are 2 back to back full-size bathrooms each with a shower/tub combo.
The Lower Floor provides two additional slope-side back bedrooms, that both have queen beds. There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. This floor is the place to hang out, there is a wet-bar, dry sauna, heated tile flooring, foosball table and an actual 1970’s ski chair that used to be a main chairlift on Whitefish Mountain Resort. This is the absolute perfect photo backdrop.
Other amenities include high speed Wi-Fi, cable TV, and double laundry facilities. And with our ski-in/ski-out location, you can hit the slopes directly from our home and enjoy all that Big Mountain has to offer.

This Big Mountain Haus is just a quick 40 minute drive from Glacier National Park’s West Entrance and a 10 minute drive from historic downtown Whitefish Montana. Glacier Park International Airport is located 25 minutes away.
No Smoking anywhere on property or on premise! This includes the back deck, front porch or driveway. Only smoking permitted is in your vehicle (not parked in the garage) or on the roadway outside of the driveway further away from the townhome.
No Candles allowed anywhere in the townhome, this includes the back deck.
No Mountain Bikes, Skis, Ski Boots, Ski Poles, SnowBoards, Snowboard Boots or other large outdoor / equipment allowed inside the townhome, this also includes in the Mud Room / Drop Zone.
No trash to be left outside/outdoors as there are a lot of bears in the area. It is not allowed to pile trash on the garage floor. It is guests responsibility to take excess trash that will not fit in the 2 garbage cans in the garage to the trash compactor during their stay. The trash compactor is located near the Big Mountain Fire Station 2 blocks away.
Deck Chairs are Not allowed inside of the townhome on the main floor or elsewhere. No rearranging the interior furniture or moving furniture to another location or room (without prior specific approval).
Hot Tub Cover to be replaced and covering the hot tub when not in use.
Exterior gas fireplace to be turned off when not immediately near it or not in immediate use with guests in close proximity either on the back deck or using the hot tub.
Big Mountain Haus does host guest activities and events With prior approval, coordination, authorization and potentially additional fees, before checkin. Otherwise No events, weddings, group gathers or work trainings allowed. (please ask the host and we can provide more information)
No pets. There are many guests that stay at this Big Mountain Haus that have pet allergies and significant cleaning is required whenever a pet stays in this home. All guests with service animals to coordinate with property manager prior to their stay.
Guests are expected to be good stewards of this mountain townhome during their stay and report any incidental damage of the building, furniture, furnishings, all kitchen ware and maintain the quality of the property and furnishings that are being provided.
