"My family and I had a great stay! We had a wonderful thanksgiving lunch with family and friends. The space to preparing for the meal to cooking to enjoying our meal was more than enough room for all 18 of us. The games and area for kids to play was great. The hot tub was a big hit as well. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone! We are already discussing a stay in the summer as well! "

"My family drove from several other states to gather for Christmas in Canon City. This home was beautiful and perfect for our families . The yard was nice for the kids to play and sleeping accommodates were great. Karen was extremely helpful and great communication. "The listing is accurate: 2 bed/1 bath, washer/dryer, evap. cooler/furnace. The evaporative cooler may not be for everyone, but I lived in AZ for a long time, so I'm fine with them. My partner said the mattress wasn't comfortable for him, but I was fine. I used the washer and dryer to do a small load while we were there. "This was a beautiful property-- well-appointed and comfortable. We came for the solitude. A lot we could have done but we dod a lot of walking, reading, talking and game playing ad well as visits with nearby family. The fantastic Sangre de Christo mountains are stunning at all hours of the day or night. Amazing stars, snow and wildlife -- deer and elk. The cabin kept us cozy even as temperatures were at ir below freezing for days. Thank you for a great stsy."

"Loved the roomy cabin-like feel of the this rental. Plenty of room, so much nicer than staying in a hotel/motel. Lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced yard. We didn't have long enough to check out the hot tub and we aren't bicyclists, but two bikes were available and looked like they were ready to be used. We would definitely book this location again if we make another trip to Canyon City. "

"The property was not really within walking distance of downtown area. Beautiful house but we went at Christmas time and they had no decorations. I realize they probably worry about offending someone but I don’t think garland on the fireplace mantels or a fake poinsettia here or there would have been an issue. It would have been nice if they had some box games for kids or families to play while staying there. Ok for a night or two. "

"The staff were quick and very friendly. Property was very clean in common areas and rooms. Bed was very firm and pillows were small. No extra blankets in room. Neighbors open and shut their door repeatedly for like 1 1/2 hrs. Housekeeping against one of our walls and the wash machine was loud when running. Breakfast was ready on time, coffee was hot and fresh, and eating area was comfortable. Parking was very convenient. Check out was easy. Despite the noise polluted room, we’d still stay here...
