This eclectic, sunny, spot, sits above a renovated historic cider mill from the 1850s. It has been designed and furnished by our own team of artisans.
With panoramic views and breathtaking surroundings, including endless flora and fauna, and a contingent of mallards, egrets, and swans, this hideaway is the perfect "Get Away."
This stunning, two-bedroom apartment is located atop a renovated historic Mill in the quaint coastal New England town of Westport. Original hardwood floors, and thoughtful furnishings, embrace the historic setting. With a multitude of windows, it is bright, airy, and filled with views. There is plenty of room for up to six people to prepare and enjoy intimate meals while viewing the beautiful marsh below. The "Flaming June" living/lounge area has a full size sofa bed. Relax and enjoy the splendor of the large "Frida" Bedroom. The 2nd bedroom, the "Pearl” bedroom while small, is very cozy with a full size bed and a smart TV. Our furnishings were designed and lovingly crafted to celebrate some of our favorite artists (Frida Kahlo, Johannes Vermeer, Sir Frederic Leighton, and Vincent Van Gogh). Amidst all of this creative and historic splendor, you will also find all of the modern amenities needed to accommodate the perfect stay. If you wish to lounge on a beach, we are located very near several beaches in Westport, Southport, and Fairfield Beach.
If you are here on business, we're thrilled to announce that we have open B@Work Co-Working. This is a multi-level work space with views of the Sasco River and waterfall, just downstairs from this charming vacation rental. Our guests get an access card for 24/7 access during their stay.
Guests can park in our private parking lot. You enter the apartment by accessing the key in a lockbox, which allows for self check in. The apartment is up one flight of stairs. The entire space is yours. We do allow pets. We trust our guests will take advantage of this accommodation responsibly. The apartment has one large bedroom with a queen bed, a small bedroom with a full size bed, and a sofa bed in the living/ lounge area. We have smart TV’s in each bedroom and the living/ lounge space. There is a full kitchen with plenty of plates, glasses, cups, and utensils for six people. Of course a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker are included. There is also a dishwasher. The kitchen is large enough for six, and well equipped and supplied. There is a spectacular dining section with a table for six. Plenty of sunlight (or moonlight) coming through the large windows. You even have a lovely view of the Mill pond below. The living/ lounge section has a cozy couch that is also a sofa bed (full size). You can enjoy our large screen smart TV’s with cable and Amazon Fire Stick. Of course you can always stream your favorite music on our Amazon Alexa/Sonos System. We own the entire building which was a working Mill until the early 20th century. We have completely embraced its history and renovated with love. Guests also have access to the washer and dryer located in the building. If you are here for work, you have access to our multi-level Co-working space, also located in the building. There is a small cafe area below, and a quaint outside table and chairs that guests also have access to.
We are available 24/7 via cellphone.
We are located right on the Westport / Southport town line. These two beautiful, quaint, coastal New England towns, have so much to offer, I don't know where to start. First, they are beach towns, so that may be a good starting point. There are plenty of beaches to choose from. Next, both towns are steeped in history (they were settled in 1639) with magnificent historic homes. They also have an incredible array of restaurants and night life to choose from. And, it is a rare individual who has not heard of Westport's Main Street for its fabulous shops and restaurants. I should also mention we are minutes from the Metro North train station. A trip into Manhattan is about an hour away!
We have our own parking lot. We are also near two major stops on Metro North. CTDOT runs bus service along the Post Road. Also, we are minutes from both I-95 and the Merritt Parkway.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor, so you must climb stairs. We do allow pets, but we trust our guests will take advantage of this accommodation responsively, please don’t let pets soil our floors, beds, or furniture. Also, this is a mid 1800’s Mill that has been restored. The bathroom and 2nd bedroom are small but cozy.
We do allow pets. We ask that our guest use this accommodation responsibly. Please do not allow pets to soil our floors, beds, or furniture.
