"The house was cute and comfortable. I loved the old feel of it. The location was remote and serene, and we enjoyed the sound of the river across the street while chatting on the porch. We had no problem with making our meals, as the kitchen was sufficiently equipped. Our dog was very comfortable and surprised by a visit from some Guinea hens in the morning. "Had a great stay, cozy log cabin, beds were very comfortable. So nice to have a few garbage bags, paper towels, soaps and toiletries!! Also some coffee filters:) Hot tub was great too! "

"This was a great house for our extended family. The teenagers found plenty to do and the adults found plenty of spots to catch up. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment for our gourmet chefs.My only complaint is that there were no hangers in the closet "

"Excellent views, quiet, VERY CLEAN amd comfortable. One set of stairs. "The journey is part of the adventure" driving up the mountain led my imagination back 100 years. Exposed hand hewn beams indicated age of original building. This location is not in town, so pick up your groceries (if you're planning to make meals) en route. Coffee, cream, eggs, wine provided. "

"We were visiting for a wedding and very comfortably slept 7 of us. The property manager was very accommodating with communication, as we got there much later than expected. Michael was great.It would have been helpful to have maybe a book with instructions and a light on at the end of the driveway- it was very dark on approach.Other than that highly recommend. "

"I stayed with my spouse and two children (ages 5 and 9). We felt very safe. The rental was very private and separate from the main house. The bedrooms and two bathrooms were very convenient. Check-in was super easy and directions were clear. Lots of things were provided to make the stay very easy and convenient.Two points of inconvenience: 1) the downstairs bathtub only gets warm water. "Wonderful! Relaxing and quiet. Host was wonderful and the property was everything promised. The attention to detail and guests needs was spot on. We cannot wait to visit again and would recommend Bent Apple Farm to everyone. There is a cabin that would fit anyone's need and comfort."

"This lovingly built off-grid glamping cabin is drenched with sun! It’s absolutely gorgeous! The kids enjoyed pumping their own water and sledding down the front hill. Paris is an excellent hostess- she answered all our questions very promptly & thoroughly. We cant wait to come back! Thank you!!!"

"Everything was very nice with this property! Looked nice and felt comfortable with enough seating for all 9 of us at the dinning room table. It's in a quaint little town with a local shop with breakfast that was a minute away, and a 3 min walk to the river. Hit up a few lakes and other fun activities and most things were a 15-30 minute drive. The only negative was we noticed few mice but I think that's par for the course in VT."

"Our stay at the West River Lodge was great! The cabin is very cozy, nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We cooked dinner one of the nights we were there and all we had to bring was the food…the kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes and flatware…even a vegetable peeler and can opener! We would definitely recommend staying here."

"The house was exceedingly well equiped with everything one needed and than some. The host definitly had a high sense of hospitality when he set up the house. Only on slight item was the distance to the lake, it was walkable but not for an older individual. The positive thing was it was very private and with the canoe and kayak and paddle boat we had a fabulous time. If you need cell phone service you should set up internet service for your cell to be able to make calls. "
