"What a gem of an Inn! From the old bar, we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Beds were comfy and the place was quiet. The curtains blotted out the light! "We took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away. This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes. "A fabulous place to stay. Lovely sitting room never saw anyone use it would be much better utilised as a laundry ! We have been traveling for a week and would have been great to be able to get some clothes washed . Also heating was a bit of an issue no heaters on this morning and it was 1 degree !! There is a fan heater supplied and a blanket but the room then becomes stuffy . Great location and very clean but pack a hot water bottle 😊"

"Stayed for one night and the kitchen was closed but loads of options close by in town. Breakfast was amazing however and worth the trip. They opened breakfast early for me as i had an early start. Hotel was period in nature and some things are tired. Bed mattress was thin and awful, but the room was great. Molton Brown toiletries and plenty of good towels. Staff very helpful and friendly. Overall, worth the money and would return without hesitation."
