"First time in Maine and road tripping from Ontario. We chose to stay here in a whim and have absolutely no regrets. The check-in process was very quick and the cottage was so beautiful. Lots of amenities on the property, including picnic areas and fire pits/firewood for private use. Easy to find and very close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We would definitely return if ever in Maine again… this place deserves nothing less than 5 stars!"

"This property is convenient to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The kitchen was nice for our group to cook breakfast together. The house had lots of spaces to visit and plenty of seating both at the tables and in the common areas. Upstairs had no electrical outlets and smelled musty but we were able to work around the lack of electrical outlets and always travel with air freshener so it was okay."

"The wall of windows overlooking the water was gorgeous! The deck was nice to watch the tide come and go. Walks along the beach were peaceful and relaxing. "Great location for hiking Acadia NP. Inquired if there was a fire pit, the booking agency said no, but we found out as we were leaving that there was a shared fire pit-disappointed. "Joseph and Christina's house is a quiet, clean, well-appointed house in a great location. It's on the quieter side of Mt. Desert Island (which was great for our family). Bass Harbor Head Light is right down the road (walking distance), and the lovely little town of Southwest Harbor is a short drive up the road. Bar Harbor and the big sights in Acadia NP are a just a short drive away. We loved our stay at Driftwood."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful.
