The location is great - it was fun to watch the river tubers come through, and while it is a busy little area with many tiny homes, it was quiet and felt secluded. "Absolutely loved this little cottage! Its perfect for a clemson visit as a quick shot down 123 gets you right to campus or the same distance other direction gets you to greenville for dinner. We especially loved the back deck. It was very hot the weekend we were there and the back deck remained pleasant and cool! The fenced yard was AMAZING for furry companions. Its a chain link fence and the owner has carefully plugged up the bottom so even the smallest puppers would not be able to escape! "

"Rates are low, making the hotel a good value, but I don’t think the property deserves the high marks it gets online. The hotel sits off the interstate, so it’s a bit of a drive to the sights and restaurants in downtown Greenville. The rooms are okay but are showing their age. The staff let the hot food run out well before breakfast ended. On the plus side, the fancy coffee machine available round the clock is great!"
