Newly renovated Dog-friendly Lakefront Getaway with Fenced in back yard

We invite you to the shores of Rock Haven Lake. This is the peaceful and unhurried escape you've been longing for, perfect for families and pet lovers , features a waterfront deck for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The elevated beach area, complete with a 12ft dock for lounging, fishing, or kayaking. Winter enthusiasts can ice fish or enjoy snowmobiling trails, exceptional cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing opportunities nearby.

Property is co-hosted by KMA Property Group (Anca and Mike) who are available via call/text or email.
While not located on the property, we do have a local team who can assist if anything is needed.

There is no lifeguard - lake front property



Step into the expansive open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. The kitchen is brand new and boasts a state-of-the-art island cooktop with a sleek down-draft ventilation system. Coffee enthusiasts will appreciate the K-Duo Plus Keurig, capable of brewing a single cup (6 - 12 oz) or a full pot (6 to 12 cups) using both ground coffee and K-cup pods. The dining room table offers a serene lake view, as does the comfortable sitting area in the living room, where you'll find a Smart TV for all your streaming needs.

The primary bedroom, featuring a queen bed, is conveniently situated to the right of the dining area and includes its own ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is equipped with another queen-size bed, while the third bedroom features a twin-size bed and a bunk bed (twin over full configuration). These two bedrooms share a well-appointed full bathroom.

Descend to the private beach area, which includes a 12-foot dock, inviting you to engage in activities such as fishing and kayaking. Please note that swimming is not permitted on this side of the lake; however, Rock Haven Lake beach is just a quick 6-minute drive away and is exclusively accessible to Newfield residents and their guests (permit provided).

After a day of adventures, unwind with central air-conditioning when the weather is warm, and take advantage of the washer/dryer for a quick laundry refresh. Whether you're streaming the latest releases, scrolling through social media via the free WiFi, playing board games, or embracing the great outdoors with a barbecue on the patio using the gas grill, this retreat offers a multitude of options for relaxation. Encourage idyllic conversations with your loved ones as you sway on the rocking chairs of the front porch.

Wrap up your day with a marshmallow-roasting session around the chiminea on the back patio, all while gazing at the starry sky. The tranquil retreat you've been daydreaming about is here, and all that remains is to secure your booking.

There is no public transit near by.

The dock is available from Memorial Day through at least mid-September (dock will be removed on 10/03/2024)

Guests are required to use their personal logins for streaming services.
Safety gates are installed at the top of the stairs on both the back deck and the front porch.
Two dogs are welcome in this home; no other pets are permitted. The following dog breeds/pets are not permitted: Pit Bull, Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Akita, Doberman, Wolf-hybrid, Chow, Bull Mastiff, American Bully, American Staffordshire Terrier, Presa Canario, Shar-Pei, Guard/Attack dogs, and any animal with a past history of biting or that demonstrates aggressive behavior.
There is ample free parking space for up to 4 vehicles.
Firewood is NOT provided, but should be available at the K&D Market, 185 Wakefield Rd (about a mile away)
Guest entry is facilitated through an E-lock, a digital lock system that generates a unique code for each guest's stay.
In the event of a power outage, the home is equipped with a whole-house generator.
Toiletries/ Essentials provided as a starter kit, for each booking.
To rent this property, guests must be 25 years of age or older.

Lakefront and dog friendly
We really enjoyed our stay here! The views were beautiful! The neighborhood was quiet and safe. It was clean and spacious for our group of 6 adults. There were plenty of amenities in the home. We appreciated the washer and drier and the extra dog towels as it rained when we were there. There is nice outdoor seating that we enjoyed. One con is that the grocery store was about 20-30 minutes away and no close restaurants availabe. We would recommend staying here!
