"I booked this place for my wife, 2 year old daughter, beagle, and myself for a weekend as we explored the cook forest area. It was perfect for us. Hot water, heat, privacy, a nice covered porch, fire pit, and comfy beds. And it's not just the physical things, but the customer service that make this place extra special. "very beautiful property. although was not expecting it to be so close to the road. everything was wonderful except for the patio down below has a bee's nest built behind the couch I was stung twice our dog was stung multiple times. the water inside of the camp the hot is cold and the coldest hot the door knob needs fixed just small things minus that we enjoyed our stay"

"The cabin and area was wonderful get away. Really liked the size of cabin and amenities. We even got to build a campfire and enjoyed it in 20 degrees temperatures. We traveled the one day north to see wildlife, like Elk. It was amazing. Some suggested improvements for the owners. 1) Improve the internet. It was spotty with weak signal. 2) Cabin was semi cool. Ran electric heaters high. bathroom heater kept tripping the breaker. Had to unplug a few things from one outlet to keep from tripping....

"It was the first week of January 2025 and we were passing through PA headed back to Michigan. Decided to make a stop off the beaten path for some R&R. The Lazy Bear cabin was a GREAT stop. We enjoyed the quiet snow falling while relaxing in the hot tub. Then settled in for the night by the electric fireplace and watched a movie. Kids loved the loft style cabin. We loved the quiet get away. "
