Experience this blissful getaway two minutes from one of the islands most gorgeous secluded beaches and 5 minute drive from another. Luxurious restaurant, beach bar and coffee shop and spa just a 2 minute walk from the house. One of the most popular surf spots and fun night life bar & restaurant is just a short walk over the hill. Dine at the villa outdoors on the spacious balcony overlooking beautiful turquoise shores and fall asleep to the sound of waves. A perfect location to be without a car for a few days of total relaxation, with best of both worlds enjoying a peaceful neighborhood with conveniences so close by. For those wanting to explore other islands , the ferry to Jost Van Dyke is 10 mins drive away, Sopers hole marina and grocery store is a ten minute drive over the hill.

A beautiful 2 bedroom unit with an overview of the beach at Long Bay. Fully equipped condition. Very private and quiet. We walked and relied on taxis, but a rental car would be helpful. The resort’s restaurant is a short walk away and the restaurant at Sugar Mill is a 20 minute walk or a short drive. Smugglers’ cove is a 20 minute walk or a short drive.

Tortola Long Bay
The house was clean and beautifully decorated. However, the photo image on Verbo made it appear closer to the beach, in reality it is on an extremely steep mountain. The streets are unmarked and narrow. The property is a 45 minutes drive from the airport.

This VRBO exceeded expectations. Beach chairs and beach towels were just a few of the extras. House was clean and we will definitely consider staying again.

Quiet, Relaxing Villa with a Beautiful Ocean View
We enjoyed our stay very much. We traveled with friends and liked the way the rooms were configured for privacy. Loved the beachy decor and there was even a bowl of fresh fruit on arrival! The villa overlooks the ocean and was a good base for exploring not only Tortola but also JVD as it was a short drive to the West End ferry. There are two lovely beaches close by. The owner was easy to book with, very responsive and had good instructions. We'd stay here again!

Our host, Caroline, was by far the best host we have ever encountered anywhere!! She went out of her way, literally, to make sure we had what we needed. From helping to get groceries delivered, to refilling propane to grill, to arranging transportation…we could not have asked for more. And the villa was absolutely perfect. Amazing views, equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable and relaxing.

Beautiful villa
Villa is as described. Well appointed and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well equipped. View is unmatched. However, please note that you do not have any access to the pool, tennis, pickle ball nor gym. On day 2 of our week long stay, were asked to leave the pool as this property is not part of the resort. Even though the listing states these amenities as included with the rental. Unfortunately we were told by the property manager that we had access if you spent $50 at the bar. Susan, the food and beverage manager at the resort, checked and this villa has no amenity access. So if you just want a nice villa that is a short walk to she beach you’ll be fine but if you want to swim in a pool, eat at the bar, play pickle ball or use the gym, you will not be able to do so.

Fabulous property with breath-taking ocean view
What a magnificent get-away with unbelievable ocean views from each room! We loved this quiet, secluded and relaxing property in Tortola. Going to sleep and waking up to the the sound of the ocean surf was a dream come true! We enjoyed using the hammock on the deck. The house was well-appointed and spotless. Carolyn provided great directions and house access. Even a big bowl is fresh fruit! We didn't need anything from her after that because everything had been thought through to make for a perfect stay. The only thing that might be worth mentioning that surprised us is that one of the suites is up a flight of stairs which could be an issue for consideration when booking.

Long bay
The house was just as described and even though the trek up the hill was mentioned in the reviews, it was a longer, steeper walk than expected. The beach was very rocky and full of coral, so definitely bring water shoes to get in and out of the water. The house was very clean and well equipped, and the outdoor porches and decks were lovely. There is no trash pickup on the island, so one needs to take it to a dumpster a mile or so away. We had a rental car so we were able to do it several times, but I can’t imagine ordering a taxi to get rid of the trash Renters of the villas are not allowed to use any of the resort facilities, but the beach is public, and the 1748 restaurant lets you use their facilities if you have lunch with them.

Beautiful Long Bay Villa
Villa was even better than described. Styled beautifully inside and out with everything one would need for a relaxing Caribbean beach vacation. Communication with host was excellent. We hope to return to Long Bay and Caroline’s amazing villa soon again!

A beautiful place..a step above the average villa.Lovely furnishings,comfortable and spacious for indoor and outdoor living. Being part of Long Bay resort was great with a wonderful pool and beach bar with options for dining. A very friendly and gracious place. We had a wonderful time!!

Beautiful Views of Long Bay Beach
The villa was exacty as described and was perfect for our 2 couple get-away. We loved taking walks on Long Bay Beach and taking a short drive to sit all day at Smuggler's Cove. This villa has easy access to Soper's Hole for groceries and restaurants and easy access to the West End Ferry. We love Tortola and this villa was PERFECT!

Tropical Perfection
We stayed for a month in this perfect delightful villa with spectacular views and everything else we needed for a more than comfortable stay. Caroline was the perfect host… she made sure we had what we needed and responded immediately to any questions we had. The villa was lovely, clean, spacious, and home away from home for the month. We ate out a lot but we also ate in and we had everything we needed with an outdoor grill, stove and cooking supplies. The nights we ate in we ate outside and watched the sun go down. Every day was glorious both in the villa and our entire Tortola stay. We plan to go back for another month next year!! I wholeheartedly recommend staying in this villa that felt like a month of heaven.

Overall a wonderful experience. Already missing the view.
We rented the property for a Christmas vacation with our adult daughters. This villa has fabulous views and is just as pictured in the listing. We loved using the facilities at Long Bay Beach, which is gorgeous. We took advantage of the beach, bar and restaurants. We also walked to Smugglers . If you don't rent a car, which we elected not to do, be forwarned that the hill to the villa is steep especially if you are carrying a cooler and beach gear. We considered it our daily work out so it worked out fine for us. We used Murlise for all our taxi rides and she was a gem. She told us stories about the area which we all loved. Would absolutely come back again. Note: there is no TV or dishwasher for those who might miss those items.

Two wonderful weeks with my mom
My mom and I rented this beautiful villa for our vacation on Tortola. The villa is absolutely stunning. I never booked a house so well equipped with everything you need. It had the perfect mix between being close to the beach and up on the hill. We enjoyed the breeze that we had during the evenings and the beautiful view a lot. Caroline was a wonderful host, she gave us a lot of tips on what to do around the area and was very helpful and easy to reach whenever we needed something. Thank you for hosting us, Caroline!

Perfect Spot
Caroline's property was perfect for a girls' getaway weekend. We were there to celebrate a friends' birthday and the property was in perfect walking distance down to the Long Bay Beach Club where some of our other friends were staying. We were also able to take a quick 20 min walk to beautiful Smuggler's Cove. Great place, I highly recommend it!

Beautiful view
The house was as pictured, and the view was even better. Had a bit of trouble finding the house and the host was nice and helped us find our way over the phone. You'll need an SUV to get around as noted in the description. Bed was firm. There was construction at Long Bay Resort right below the house (it closes every year for the month of September and they are expanding), which was a bummer when we wanted to lounge outside and listen to the waves, but the hammocks are a nice touch.

Amazing View
This villa had everything you could ask for. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen amazing views of sunrise and sunset. Everything you needs is close by. Smugglers Bay beach is just over the hill. It has a very good beach bar Patricia’s they have chairs and umbrellas if you buy food and drinks. Lots of very good restaurants a short drive from the villa. We spent many evenings cooking and enjoying the outside deck for dinner. We had the most relaxing vacation! We will be back.
