The Palm - 2BD/2BA by Jordan Creek with a Beautiful Swimming Pool

You'll be in close to West Des Moines premiere shopping, dining and entertainment area, Jordan Creek Mall, while enjoying resort style amenities! Your personal retreat has an open concept layout, including a large kitchen island, separate bedrooms each with their own walk-in closet, a private patio and more. You'll feel at home, but also have access to amenities, such as the outdoor pool and gym. Corporate housing is available.

I am available anytime! Please streamline all communication through your booking platform to ensure I receive it. There is a community manager on-site during the day. A 24/7/365 maintenance emergency phone number is provided to you during your stay.

The unit is in a prime location! Minutes from the Jordan Creek, which is Iowa's largest retail, shopping and entertainment headquarters. Many national retailers and specialty shops are located here. Catch a movie at the Century 20 movie theater, explore nightlife in West Glen or dinner at the Jordan Creek pond. If you're wanting to get out of West Des Moines, the interstate is close by to get you anywhere in the metro quickly!

You will have full access to the unit, the fitness center and the swimming pool. You will need a key fob to get into the fitness center and pool.

The unit is spacious but you'll find all the accommodations of home. As you enter the front door, you're greeted by the large and expansive kitchen, stocked with all the basic appliances you would need (toaster, Keurig, microwave, etc) as well as bakeware, kitchen gadgets, etc. There is also a dedicated laundry room including washer, dryer, supplies and more. There is also tons of room at the kitchen island as well.

The kitchen overflows into the the sprawling living room with plenty of space to stretch out. A smart TV (Hulu Live + DVR included) and wifi throughout the unit are at your disposal. Don't forget about the private, balcony with seating off the living room as well! There is also a desk/workspace in the living room as well.

On one side of the living area, you'll find the main bathroom which is adjacent to a bedroom with a full-sized bed, nightstand, large walk-in closet and room darkening curtains (not pictured). Across the other side of the living room, is the master suite with a king sized bed, dresser, en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet and room darkening curtains (not pictured).

While I love all pets, only dogs are allowed (restricted breeds: Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Akita, Rottweiler, Chow, Doberman Pinscher & Mastiff).

You will have access to a detached private garage space to use for the duration of your stay.

Jordan Creek - Des Moines
This 2 BR apartment is located on the western edge of Jordan Creek, just south of Mills Civic Parkway. It is easy to get to and there is a lot of local restaurants, shopping etc. The apartment is nicely furnish and we instantly felt at home.

Great Place for visitors without kids
This property was great! It is in a very nice, secluded community. We loved the area it was in. The unit had everything we could need in it for our stay. I cooked several meals and was able to keep up with laundry! It was clean and beautiful. The complex was very quiet during the week, it did pick up some over the weekend. We are a family of four and I'd say this is more ideal for travelers who are either single or traveling without children. There are a few reasons for me saying this. There is only one couch and one TV. For those needing seating for more than two, this becomes uncomfortable and a hassle. Also, it is on the second floor, my two year old quickly learned how to unlock the sliding door to the balcony. The large kitchen island is great! Yet the only seating for it, is on carpet. For children and messy eaters this is not ideal! Each meal, I would move the bar stools around to the other side so that my children would be eating over wood floors rather than carpet. The beds are terrible as well. They were extremely uncomfortable. We would have enjoyed our stay much more if it were not for these issues! The apartment itself was great and very nice. If you can handle the things that were inconveniencing for my family, or they do not apply to you, then I would recommend staying here. It is a very nice place.

The Power of Coffee
Never under-estimate what NOT having a cup of coffee in the morning can do to one's stay... The place was clean, right across from the pool, a nice balcony, big kitchen & laundry room, welcoming to dogs. There were some loud neighbors downstairs one night, and I wasn't crazy about the closet being inside the master bathroom, but the TV was nice. The complex was further away from the mall than I had imagined, but everything around there is only minutes away from it. I would have given this a five star rating, if it hadn't been for the "coffee situation!" The very first morning, we tried to make a cup using the Keurig machine provided. It was full of water, turned on, plugged in, restarted, reloaded, everything....it wouldn't work (kept saying it needed water but it was full). We immediately messaged the contact listed....with no response. In fact, he didn't respond for more than a day, during which time we had to drive 5 minutes away, every morning, to get our coffee. When it's 6am and you have a business call scheduled, this is a big deal. When he finally did respond, it was only to say that he'd have 'someone look at it' but didn't specify when. No one ever showed up during our 5 day stay, so we had to do the coffee run EVERY DAY! By the end of it, I was angry. It cost us an additional $12/day for us to just have coffee, which is ridiculous when we were already paying to have it a part of our place. Not cool, dude.

Beautifully furnished condo in West Des Moines near Jordan Creek Mall. The owner was fantastic to communicate with and the condo exceeded our expectations. We definitely would rent from this owner again.
