"We stayed a few days in Steeleville, MO, during our Rte 66 road trip thru MO. Our host was absolutely wonderful! We ended up arriving later in the evening, in the dark! She actually contacted us, providing directions and maintained contact with us until we arrived. She made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival... even a bottle of wine! With her vast knowledge of the area she was able to provide so many excellent suggestions for food, shopping and site seeing. We LOVED the quaint...

"This stay was everything we needed and wanted. The cabin is adorable, well furnished, and super clean. The river view off the back deck was a highlight for us and we found it hard to leave. We would definitely stay here again. "

We came back for the night after dark and had a hard time seeing the driveway! Maybe add some lights to line the driveway so it isn’t dangerous turning off the main road. "The property had everything we needed to make a full Thanksgiving meal. The large table accomodated everyone with plenty of room. The property is beautiful, the owners were so accomodating and responsive. I don't think there was any detail not considered. The kids are already asking when we can stay at River Place again."

"Very remote feeling but only 5 miles from town. This place is a little gem, with all the amenities and then some to make sure you feel right at home. We appreciated having somewhere close to our kids to be able to have a holiday dinner with. The sound of the river while outside was so peaceful. And we walked down to it to skip rocks. Just beautiful, thanks for sharing your cabin with us!"
