"We stayed here one night, we will be back we loved it, lovely clean tidy room, homely, not kneen that dogs could stay in our room I'm very fussy! We had an evening meal the food was excellent a sunday roast very very homemade and very tasty, some nice pubs around the street to check out too."

"Wonderful pub and accommodation. The people are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This 16th century public house still supports many original features making its atmosphere charming. The room was fairly small, a double bed and the small wardrobe made it tight to get to the bathroom but it was very clean and comfortable. Street Parking is available in front of the pub for free but only from 6pm till 9am so you need to move the car at 9am. The food was good but pricier than either of the 2...

"Really nice place - great fire, excellent food and beer. Room was just what I needed (and they surprised me with an upgrade). Staff were lovely. 12 hours solid sleep - couldn't have asked for more. Able to pre-order breakfast if wanted enabled me to have a lie in."

"A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Very good standard of food. The classic room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Perfect for a relaxing break once you have negotiated the 1.5 mile single track road to the hotel!"

"What a find! A quaint old building oozing character with everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing break. We wanted for nothing and the hosts couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Breakfast was top notch. Overall excellent value for money. "Staff nota 0. Limpeza praticamente inexistente. Cheguei de viagem e me deparei com o chao do quarto sujo: chao melecado, papel jogado e um guarda-chuvas no canto do quarto. Sem falar na sacada que nunca foi limpa na vida. Tambem nao substituem os ammenities do banheiro. A recepcao tambem nao é nada simpatica. Staff muito fraca no geral. "
