"The townhouse was nice and well-maintained, and not too far away from many things to do in Franschhoek! Directions/instructions on how to get there (what the actual address is) could be improved, as we originally tried to check in to the apartments near Motherdough. Additionally, there was a very off-putting smell coming from under the kitchen sink that we could not find a source for. Overall, a good stay."

"Had a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough it’s a place of tranquility and splendour."

"We had a great time at Sandmartins over the 2022 Christmas holiday. The house is very well equipped, clean and secure. Sandra is a great communicator and kept us nicely informed through the entire process. She even decorated the house for Christmas for us! As is common in South Africa, load shedding does impact this property, but we appreciated the small backup battery that kept the internet and Tv going. "We booked the manor. Without informing us they placed us in a garden room. When we noticed this they informed us that the room in the manor was claimed by the owner. At the end they solved it well they gave us a house. In general Diemersfontein is outdated. Staff is very friendly and the food in the restaurant is good. "
