"It is very nice cottage with beautiful scenarios , We really enjoyed our vacation."

"It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra. We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered. Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....

"Great property"

"The upstairs room was really a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed the air hockey game and the foose ball. Really liked the feature on the fire place that heated the room. It was a warm and cozy cabin. Loved the location and the best was that it snowed. So beautiful."

""Room" was a well maintained and comfortable RV. A bit of road noise because of close proximity to major roadway but not really a problem."

"This cottage is a short walk from the town square. The property has grills and a hot tub. There are areas to hang out both indoors and out. The property is fun to explore. Our infant slept soundly in the bedroom while we played cards outside or sat in the hot tub. The hot tub is within range for our video baby monitor. Some board games would be a nice addition to this space. This is a nice spot to relax and would be a great space for gatherings - particularly if you could snag other spots on...

"100% recommended. Loved the novelty of staying in a caboose, but it’s more than meets the eye. Super well done, clean and well kept. We look forward to coming back!"

"We stayed during a very hot month of July but once we got the A/C and fans going it was more tolerable. The home was so adorable and super clean. Felt like we were glamping with the exterior amenities of camping and interior amenities of home. Very happy with this quaint and cozy place."

"Our family rented this home on a functioning horse property as an alternative to camping in the Jawbone Canyon/Dove Springs off road riding area over thanksgiving week. It is just a 20 minute drive to the gate for day trips. We weren’t looking for glamorous accommodations but a place that could hold 3 families and had trailer parking for the off road vehicles and this worked perfectly. Owner is easy to work with and responsive . Would definitely return! "

"My family, my son and his friend and my two beautiful grandchildren shared memories of previous trips to the Kern River with my husband at this beautiful home. The river was just steps away to enjoy. The house left nothing to want for. It felt like home. Thank you. Next time a longer stay"

"I usually travel with my best friend for my birthday weekend this year I wanted to make it a family trip to make memories with the grandbabies. This was a perfect place to do this. It is located at the top of the mountain so the view is amazing. Their is a game room that the grandbabies and all of us loved. Sunsets are amazing and the people around are so friendly. This I would say was the best trip and I'm excited to do it agian and we plan on booking this same cabin. Absolutely love this place"

"fabulous view and house was great."

"In the area for a funeral. The cottage gave us lots of room to be together and relax. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows, and plenty of plush bath towels. Kitchen was well-stocked. The unit had some cleanliness issues (dog hair, cobwebs, hair in shower), but otherwise was a perfect stay. Monica is a thoughtful host-even turning the AC on before our arrival as it was very hot that day. It would be a great option for a larger family coming to enjoy the recreation and beauty in the...

"We had such a great time during our stay at this property! Our group consisted of three families coming together with kids of multiple ages. Everyone slept comfortably and there were plenty of beds for all! The kids enjoyed running around the grounds. They loved looking at the horses in the morning, playing on the zip line and taking dips in the hot tub in the evenings! This place is perfectly located within the town of Kernville. Thank you again for all of the fun!"

"Private riverside retreat. Lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy. During our stay the river flow was very fast and there were quite a lot of rafts and kayakers going by. So very cool to watch and cheer them on. The house had all the amenities you could think of- meaning you could cook and not have to brimg anything from home - like OMG I forgot the can opener...Ive done that before.
