Unforgettable Riverside Experience, Hot Tub, Fire-Pit, All New Décor and Furnishing, 1 Mile to Golf

This hidden getaway on the banks of the Salmon River has it all. The location is fantastic. Sitting just one mile south of Mt. Hood Village on Highway 26 it is close to restaurants and shopping. At the home though, you wouldn't know it. Surrounded by the enormous pines and lush ferns it feels as though you have been transported deep into the mountains. Whether on the deck, in the hot tub, or around the fire-pit, the sounds of the river make for a perfect setting that you will just have to experience for yourself.

Ascending up about ten steps from outside the rest of the home and deck enjoys a singe level. The entire property has been renovated both inside and out. All new décor and furnishing has been procured to create the perfect blend of style and comfort while enjoy your stay. The eat-in kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your culinary creations.

From the living room enjoy streaming and games while relaxing on the plush furnishing. You can't help but to notice the natural light that flows in. From the windows you can see more the lush landscape and the river beyond. The primary bedroom with en-suite bath sits on one side of the house as the other two bedrooms sit opposite. One is a standard bedroom with a queen bed and the other is bunk room with two twin over full bunks allowing for maximum sleeping flexibility.

The manicured landscaping and paths create a wonderful area outside to enjoy. Most that stay, don't even want to leave the home. However if you do, there are countless trails and other adventures to be had. The Three Nines Golf Course is just on the other side of the bridge. Government Camp is barely 13 miles up the road as well. The River Trail Retreat is without a doubt a fantastic place to base your adventures out of as you explore all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Please be aware failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

So relaxing!
I can see why this property gets such good reviews! Everything about our stay was wonderful. It is the perfect little getaway to relax by the river. It is right off a small road, but does not have heavy traffic at all. It is tucked right in, so you still feel like you are hidden in the woods and private. It was VERY clean and the decor was so nice. The bed was a firm memory foam which some may not like, but was not an issue for us that would prevent us from coming back. The backyard trail leads right down to the water and the fire pit is perfectly located to sit and listen to the water rush by. We would definately stay here again.

We loved our visit. The house was clean, cozy, comfortable and perfect for our needs. The only issue we had was that the dryer was broken and unfortunately, it was raining most of the time we were there and drying clothes around the fire place was not ideal. The agent told us they were looking into it. But there was no resolution in the time we were there.

Streamside Tranquillity
This is the perfect quiet wilderness home! It has a cabin chic personality mixed with an industrial strength that makes it timeless. Beds were comfortable. Quality linens and towels were freshly laundered. The stream provides the perfect balance of white noise and the hot tub was exactly what we needed after a long day of hiking! Kitchen had everything needed to cook meals and the grill worked great. The management team was very responsive, and everything needed for check-in/-out was sent to our phones. Seamless stay for sure! Thank you!!

A Keeper!
The house is super cute, clean and modern. The location was so perfect. I loved being so close to the river. We loved walking the Old Salmon River trail, it was the most beautiful trail I've been on, and it's so close to the house. I had a couple of issues arise upon entering the house and communication with the management was amazing and things were taken care of very quickly by very friendly staff! It rained steadily two of the three days we were there but it felt cozy in the house. I opened the window so I could hear the river and pulled up a chair and read my book. We also played one of the board games that was in the house. We enjoyed the hot tub. Two things that were a little bothersome were the mattresses. I was in the master bdrm and the mattress was very hard and I was sore/stiff every morning upon waking. Tossed and turned at night trying to get comfy. Even a tempur pedic mattress topper would help greatly. My sons in the other bedrooms said their mattresses were hard, too, but they were okay. Two of the pillows in the master bedroom were pretty flat. I'd bring my own from home next time. Amazon has an amazing luxury hotel type pillow with hundreds of thousands of reviews for great prices. The kitchen does not supply any tupperware or bags or tinfoil/plastic wrap for leftovers if you decide to cook at the home so bring those with you. All in all, we loved the home and location, the friendly, attentive management and I will come back to stay again!

Perfect get away but close enough
Perfect place to get away but close enough to lots of fun stuff. Property was very cozy and welcoming. Clean and stocked with all the amenities. River was so beautiful and relaxing as was the hot tub. I'd highly recommend this place!

The house was a great fit for our family — comfy master, teen had his own space, little ones loved the bunk bed room. Well stocked and maintained, neat as a pin. Super cozy. Good WiFi. But the 5/5 rating is really for the customer service. Communication from the minute you make the reservation is clear. Management answers questions IMMEDIATELY, like a Malfoy Manor house elf just waiting by to be called upon, and they take every little thing seriously so that you are happy. I’ve rented dozens of times and these folks are the best by a mile.

Exactly what was needed!
It's off season for a getaway but this was the little slice of quiet riverside paradise that my friends and I desperately needed away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We all had to work still and the wifi was more than sufficient to do everything we needed to and more. The hot tub was fantastic, the river beautiful and soothing, the area was gorgeous too! Inside is an absolute delight; clean, well organized, and with some immensely comfy beds! My group is in their 30s but we got to fulfill the childhood wish of sleeping in one room with our favorite people. Spacious without being overwhelmingly so and still very cozy at the same time. Our hosts were extremely sweet and responsive, I could not have asked for better for my first workcation booking. Thank you so much for a joyful experience and fantastic location. Five stars all around, you won't be disappointed if you book here. It's beautiful and peaceful-- the beds are phenomenal as well!

We had to cut our trip short due to the snow. We lost power at the cabin and all the surrounding towns, but our short time spent we really enjoyed the cabin and highly recommend it. We will book it again at some point when it’s not going to poor weather conditions. Lol.

Great stay for Birthday weekend and Family quality time
This property had the perfect location for unplugging and spending time with family. We were 5 adults, and 2 dogs - enough to enjoy the house and property without feeling crowded. We stayed in early December, and it rained on only one of the days - which we liked. We spent time inside the home next to the fireplace playing games and watching movies, walked our dogs up and down the road on the bridge, and around the river. The river access is so good and worth it. The property reminded my mom and aunt of their ancestral home in Kerala, India. The house itself is smaller than what the pictures make it seem, however it is set up so neatly and aesthetically that you never find it to be a problem.

Good and Bad
The inside of home was great! There were plenty of supplies and beds were comfortable! The lightening of entire home was great! Bad: the outside hot tub was totally destroyed even though I called before we departed and I was told it worked. When we arrived we got another message saying there was a part backordered!! Joke… the area was in pieces!! I asked about the grill and was told yes there is. Working grill! The insides of the grill were burned out and open flames shot out of one side! The flavor bars were destroyed! It’s not fair to see a property listed incorrectly and we are not going to continue with VRBO if TRUST cannot be guaranteed! Jackson’s

Girls Trip!
Booked this property for my birthday/girls trip! Super cute and peaceful area. Close to really good restaurants which was perfect! Wasn't made aware that the hot tub wasn't working before arrival which was unfortunate. They issued a hot tub fee refund after what felt like begging for it. Beds are extremelyyyyyy firm, if you love that you're in luck but can definitely see that as an issue for some people! Super cute interior and updated appliances and furniture! Would stay here again.

First impressions..WOW. Beautiful place! The home was stocked with everything you can think of, very clean and organized. Much thought was put into every room. It was raining most of the time, so we didn’t get to enjoy the porch area, but the back of the house is stunning. Quiet neighborhood and would recommend to anyone staying in area.

Quiet river cabin
Wonderful location. Quiet surroundings except for the peaceful sound of the river flowing right behind the cabin. Cabin was well stocked with soaps,shampoos, toilet paper and paper towels. The pots & pans were in great shape. Our group enjoyed the hot tub and chairs along the river. Do be aware the house has no air conditioning if you are booking when it’s hot. We would definitely come back if we were vacationing in this area again!

Lovely spot by a singing river
The house itself is terrific,very comfy and just as described. But the real draw is the Salmon, which is the perfect ideal of a boulder-strewn mountain river. Your feet will be happy being in it, and your heart will be happy being next to it.

We had a great time here. The property was beautiful although the neighbors were unfriendly when we went out walking. We had some problems with the shower but the property manager answered our text first thing in the morning which was nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Great location!
First time to Mt Hood area and we loved this property! Great location that feels secluded from town but there are great restaurants, grocery store and activities nearby. Loved the home decor! Sitting out back by the listening to the river under the trees was pure relaxation. We would highly recommend.
