Perfect for a family reunion
The house and grounds are beautiful! We truly enjoyed using the pool and kayaks. The host is wonderful to deal with and one of the most responsive of any I have worked with in the past. I highly recommend that large families book this property!!

Summer getaway
My family of 7 adults and 3 children thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious home. The setting was lovely with a view of the water and wonderful screened porches. The house had various rooms for tv viewing, quiet reading, and dining. Kitchen was well appointed (loved the large fridge). The pool was great; kept clean by a cover that was easy to activate. We also enjoyed exploring the small towns in the area. Overall, the Lucky Dog was a great experience!

Amazing Property
The house was amazing, really well equipped. Great secluded location and still close to restaurants. The pool was a great temperature and big! Our son (7) loved the box of pool toys. The house is a great size could easily accommodate a large family with everyone having their own space, at the same time we were just a family of 4 and we didnā€™t feel like we were rattling around, the lounge was nice and cozy. Would definitely stay again.

Thanksgiving Stay with Family
Great location, perfect setting for spending time with family, and the fenced yard added piece of mind since we brought our dog. House came complete with all you need and more. Dock and kayaks were also alot of fun. I can only imagine how nice it is in the summer when the pool is available.

Best vacation home ever!!!
We canā€™t begin to say enough about how wonderful our week at Andreaā€™s home was - there are so many amenities and we will likely forget to mention something. The property is spectacular with a beautiful view of the water The home has two giagantic screened porches, upstairs and downstairs, and we spent days and evenings enjoying the outside on the porches without pesky insects because of the screens. The pool was absolutely amazing and many hours were spent enjoying the water and all of the rafts and pool toys available. The automatic pool cover was easy to use and kept the pool very clean. Our dog, Finley, was in his glory in the large fenced yard and inside the spacious house. There were doggie toys too and it is very clear that dogs are welcomed guests. The kitchen is the most beautiful and well equipped we have ever seen in a house. Our daughter and her friends cooked gourmet meals for us each evening, and there were so many dining options which we utilized - the formal dining room, the table in the kitchen area, and the screened in porch. There was even a table outside! We also used the kayaks and paddle boards which were so nice to have. And there is a lovely fire pit and loads of wood was provided for a great bonfire. There are so many bedrooms and bathrooms which made it so comfortable for our group. The property is equipped with Roku TV and very good internet service. Cell phone service was a little spotty at times but in general if you just moved to a different room it was fine. (Verizon). And on the third floor there was a ping pong table which provided many hours of entertainment after swimming in the pool. Andrea was so responsive and answered the few questions we had within minutes. We did some exploring of the towns nearby which were charming. Went to the steamship museum and Christ Church and loved the wrath of history at each. We ordered a custom birthday cake from Out of the Oven bakery in Whitestone. It is definitely worth the trip to this charming bakery with excellent baked goods - we had breads and cheesecake and danish and muffins in addition to the cake - and everything was top quality and delicious. We canā€™t wait to come back to this gem!

Quiet, Beautiful Getaway for Large Families or Groups
Quiet and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Cell service was limited but the wifi was strong enough for 10+ devices. The host was friendly and very responsive. Beautiful, remote location. Nearby town had everything we needed. Highly recommend.
