Situated on the banks of the Ivy River on 13 acres, the cabin is its own private nature sanctuary on a well-maintained dirt road that is home to 11 wonderful neighboring families. Rivertime is a beautiful cabin for renewal, personal retreat, quality family time, or romance. This 800-square-foot cabin has recently been updated both inside and out! The furnishings and decor are vibrant, inspiring positive vibes. Securely situated high on the banks of the Ivy River, the cabin is remarkably clean and filled with light. It is perfectly suited for a true mountain getaway. As you gaze into the flames of a cozy fire on a cool evening, you'll feel your worries dissipate and wonder why you didn't come here sooner.
Wake up to fresh mountain air and enjoy the woodland wildlife from the comfort of the covered deck! The cabin's exterior and landscaping, including stone pathways and accent lighting, have been enhanced for your enjoyment. A short footpath leads to the Ivy River., After a busy day, grill out on the deck and enjoy beautiful wooded views of the river from the hot tub.
An additional bonus to this cozy cabin is high-speed internet, a generator, and pristine well water. 5 minutes from I-26 in Weaverville. This location makes a great base camp from which to access Asheville 20 minutes away or the smaller rural towns in WNC.

During the winter months and inclement weather, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is recommended to access Rivertime. Please ensure your vehicle has sufficient clearance (i.e. SUV, Truck, or raised sedan). Low-clearance vehicles with 4WD/AWD are not recommended. During the winter months, we ask you to please consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home.
ā¢ Long, Narrow Gravel Driveway and Directions: The seclusion at Rivertime is possible because it is situated at the end of a long, narrow gravel driveway that is only wide enough for a single vehicle. We recommend only bringing one vehicle to Rivertime, and to be prepared to turn the vehicle around in a tight space at the bottom. Note that GPS is incorrect for this address, and will take you to the wrong location. Please read over (and print!) our written driving directions before departing on your trip and let us know if you have any questions.
ā¢ Amenities: Heads up for avid sports fans, you may not be able to watch live games at this property. There is no cable or satellite but there is roku. Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please bring or purchase wood locally upon arrival.
