"Thank you for an amazing stay. A great place with plenty of things to entertain people of all ages. The fact that it was dog friendly too was the icing on the cake. I would highly recommend. "The property was very clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated and bright. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the area very peaceful and quiet. Lovely garden to enjoy too. Just a few minutes by car into Barnard Castle - Barnard Castle was such a pleasant surprise. Fab meal in the Three Horseshoes. We loved the area with the river to walk alongside and the impressive attractions in the area - like High Force, Bowes Museum (wow!) and Beamish. We will visit again."

"We’ve stayed at Codley Gate many times and it never disappoints. A lovely comfortable cottage equipped with everything we need. It’s a fantastic area with great historical sites (especially Vindalanda) and wonderful scenery."

"The four of us had a wonderful stay in Dunkeld Cottage. The stone cottage was lovely - though the two tall men had to learn to duck at the kitchen door! The living spaces and bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic, with top-quality Siemens stove top and oven, a good dishwasher and much appreciated washer and dryer. "Cute little cottage in a quiet little town, down a little side street away from the main road, suited our needs. We stayed n December so the cottage although small took a fair time to warm up , underfloor heating downstairs was nice but the fire needed to be on aswell to heat the cottage toa decent temp.
