Cozy, simple 2 bed, 1 bath in FLX wine country.

Simple, clean, & private 2 bedroom ranch style house 1 mile from downtown Watkins Glen & 4 to the Nascar track with a 2 car garage.

Everything is brand new with full size washer and dryer. Enjoy dining and relaxing in the large sunroom which is surrounded by lush private scenic woods. At night wind down in the living room with the flat screen television or connect to the high speed internet. For your comfort every room has a ceiling fan which provides great air flow and there is a mini split that provides a/c. Or maybe the electric fireplace for ambiance is your thing.

Glenora Wine Cellar is only 8 miles away. Tin Barn Brewing is a mere 10 min drive up the road.
Cornell University & Ithaca Collage are 26 miles, Corning is 22 miles, and Hobart & William Smith Collage is 34 miles.

My wife and I had an incredibly peaceful stay here! The property was clean, spacious, and we loved watching the deer in the secluded yard from the sun filled dining room. The location is perfect- 2 mins from the town and state park of Watkins Glen and 10-15 mins from most vineyards. We'll definitely be looking forward to our next stay here!

Loved our stay!

It was wonderful for just my wife and I. House is close to town, but just far enough away that we were isolated from everyone and everything. Deer in yard eating every day, but one. Only negative was having to clean the porch furniture before we could use it. Birds had built a nest on the porch. Still, would stay again in a heartbeat.

Elegant property near town w/a secluded feel

I feel fortunate to have found this pet-friendly property at the last minute (while demos were begun at my own home) and to have interacted so well with Lindsay from the get-go. In the end, I wound up staying two weeks at this home perched on a hill just above town but entirely private and secluded. Highlights include floor to ceiling windows, spacious bathroom, oversized master bedroom, open kitchen and living room combo, daily deer sightings and a homey vibe. Lots of fluffy towels, well stocked overall and well insulated -- which was crucial this time of year when the weather is either frigid or temperate. For a single person, the seclusion was a little uncomfortable and a few items need upgrading (i.e., can opener failed us). Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. A cozy quiet oasis

This property is awesome if you are looking for a small getaway! It is super close to everything such as downtown Watkins Glen, wineries or breweries but it is such a private property! Super easy to check in and out and the house is beautiful! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your house!

Great Home and Location

We were in Watkins Glen for a BMW Club Racing Event. The home was 10 minutes from the track and 4 minutes to Town which was perfect for us. The Sun Room was so nice and I worked there for a day and a half very relaxing and peaceful. We had one issue and reached out to Lindsay and she responded immediately and did her best to fix the issue.

Just what we needed.

This was a perfect size for my husband and I traveling with my mother-in-law and our dog. The house was clean with new furniture, comfortable beds, a nicely stocked kitchen and extra linens. The location was private and quiet, while still being convenient to all the wineries. We were very happy with our stay and would stay there again.

Great for Watkins Glen racers

I stayed at this house for a weekend while participating in a track day at Watkins Glen International Raceway. It was perfect. The house has a large driveway that is easy to pull into when towing a trailer and a two car garage if you want to keep your toys out of the weather. The house itself has two nice bedrooms, one bathroom, and a lot of comfortable common areas for lounging with friends and family.

Cleanliness and Water Issues

Lovely home; good location with easy access to downtown Watkins Glen and other towns. Found furniture and bedding with pet hair. My daughter found a couple of small crawling bugs in her bed, and there spiders and centipedes in the house. We didn’t know that the water was well water until we called about the smell and taste of the water, which had a metallic taste, left your skin smelling of metal, and smelled a little of sulfur

Comfortable and well located

The house is comfortable and well located for convenient travel to area sights. We particularly enjoyed the sunroom with its excellent view of the surrounding woods. Note that the nearby roadway is used by large trucks struggling to make it up the steep grade. The noise is not an issue at night, fortunately.

Great stay

Loved the property, although too pricey. Fantastic location and convenient amenities. My only complaint is the bright blinking, strobing lights in the bedroom from the smoke detector detector, the TV and tlhe router.
