"I was a bit surprised by the hotel compared to the price I paid.. I expected a little more luxury. Price was at least 30 to 40% higher than it should have been for that quality hotel. But there was a good bed and things were clean. I was most impressed with Melanie at the front desk. I arrived at 1:30 and had to be at a meeting dressed in Business attire by 4. She told me it would be impossible to get in my room before 4:00. When I insisted in a nice way and told her the pressure I was under to...

"It was unique, a little hip/funky, beautiful, comfortable and well-situated in the middle of downtown Florence. I note that I could hear the bar and music, but the bar closed around 10:00, when I went to bed. It took a little while to get hot water, but then it was fine. There needs to be better instructions to operate the (useful!) electronic devices & it would help to tell people that registration is at the bar."
