"We had a great time and will definitely option for a return stay. The house fit our group of 23 comfortably. We enjoyed family dinners on the large picnic table and a nightly bonfire. Our kids ranging in age from 3 to 21 enjoyed boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming, biking, and many other things that the house and area had to offer. The cottages were just great. It gave us just enough privacy when needed. Everything was very clean and setup nicely. Everyone enjoyed the boat...

"The only ‘concern’ we had was that the heated pool wasn’t heated. Ice cold. Also, one other minor issue was that there were no coffee creamers supplied to the unit. Other than that, the stay was pretty good and room ess quiet and comfortable. "

"The house was clean and had a cozy feel. Good location too, with a lot of restaurants/ neat stores nearby. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking to go on vacation to Connecticut."

"Very clean. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Sofa bed couch was uncomfortable. We walked to downtown Mystic. Only half a mile. Vrbo gave us the wrong code for the door lock and I didn't have the email for the host. Fortunately the downstairs guests had the email and we got in."

"We rented the cottage property because it was close to family. Both the kitchen and bathroom has been update- we did not do any cooking during our stay so can’t comment on that area. But we really appreciate the instant hot water in the bathroom. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom which was comfy with lots of closet space and room. "

"We loved our trip. The cottage is beautifully done and the views incredible. We appreciated the hospitality extended by our host (and Nico the dog!) and enjoyed exploring the nearby woodland. Our kids are already asking if we can go back and visit again. "

Claude was very kind when I called him with questions and the water and fruit on the kitchen table was a nice touch. Neighborhood is a bit loud from front bedroom but beds were oh so cozy and again, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. Beds, linens, towels all super comfortable. Kitchen bright and useful. Bathrooms spotless. 2 minute walk to cute beach. Tons of stuff to do in the area. Great, private backyard well appointed with portable fire pit, grill, furniture. Lots of kid games and books and puzzles in house. Need functional carbon monoxide detector. "

"We all liove the various Connecticut shore towns, and Ild Lyme was delightful. We revisited some favorite spots, and discovered a few new ones. The vintage appliances were particularly nice to find, and looking at old photos, we realized that the original cottage was really 100 years old!"

"We stayed for our annual Columbus Day weekend away with a group of 9 friends. The house was very comfortable and we had plenty of space. We really enjoyed the game room in the evenings - all the games were in excellent condition and everything was in working order (which has not usually been the case at other vacation rentals we have been to). We were lucky enough to have beatiful fall weather all weekend, so we could enjoy the lovely back yard. We made use of the gas grill, watch a playoff game...

"We loved this spot! It felt like our home away from home during our time in Mystic. The property is very close to many of the tourist spots as well as downtown Mystic. Shaun was a wonderful host and the place was clean & comfortable. The only thing I would point out is that the bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom. Not a problem for me because I was traveling with my sister so there was no awkwardness going through the bedroom to access it but may be something to consider for some...

"I was impressed by the room. Clean and fresh no stale soap smell. Women doing cleaning came every morning even though I said I didn’t need anything in my 3 day stay she checked and reminded me to ask at the desk and she would take care of it for me. Friendly people. Wonder how it is in summer."

"The hotel itself is nice, but my room was not cleaned, only after I complained at the front desk. One day I complained after 5 pm, and it got cleaned, but very poorly. The next day I complained again, but this time no one came. Terrible service, especially for a Marriott."
