"Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. "Pretty far out location. Very isolated and that can be good sometimes! Be prepared to take an expensive shuttle boat both ways offered twice a day and if you miss it, it's a $150 boat taxi. Cocktails were great! Restaurant was slow with okay food and relatively expensive, but no other options around. Bastimentos is a cool island, I found more to do on the island closer to Bocas Town. "

"Foi uma agradável supresa ter uma casa fora de casa!!! Adoramos a privacidade e praticidade em ficar neste resort que mais se parece um condomínio com alguns serviços e restaurantes. A casa estava bem limpa e em excelentes condições. Cama confortável, todos os utensílios de cozinha, tv a cabo, próximo da praia, piscina super agradável e muita beleza natural nos arredores. "Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand und ist schön. Unser Zimmer (Beach Cabana) war in gutem Zustand und sehr sauber. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle freundlich und haben sich sofort um jegliche Anliegen gekümmert. Der Baustellenlärm war etwas störend, hielt sich aber in Grenzen. "We had a great stay and even decided to stay an additional night. We had a private room with AC, which was excellent! The room was silent and we enjoyed it a lot! Super friendly staff and lots of activities to mix up the guests. If you are too old for dorms but still love the hostel atmosphere and vibes (like we do at the age of 45), get a private room at Selina Red Frog - it´s a perfect combination. "

"The location was just far enough away from the busy Bocas Town it made it feel like we were on our own private island. Attractive rooms with the best view and an overall inviting aura. "It was awesome from the minute I arrived. Family owned business that went out of their way to ensure every detail was covered. Helped book excursions, gave suggestions on things to do. The food was incredible, everything I had and I had at least 2 meals there a day was delicious.
