"The hotel room was clean so first and foremost that’s all I really ask for. The hotel in general needs to be updated, the carpet needs replacing, it smells a bit musty, but overall it was a good stay and the staff we did come in contact with were nice. "

"I decided to visit Dorneypark for their Halloween Haunt, but I was at least a five-hour drive away from home, so I got a hotel room that was only 30 miles away. I had a full day at the park without needing to drive all those miles."

"Place is clean and gas a pool. Free breakfast isn't wonderful just passable. Most staff is friendly except front desk in late afternoon. Not rude just not friendly like the others. It's pricey so you get what you pay for. In this area it's either $160 a night for a clean place with some amenities or $80 a night for a dump. I've stayed at places for less money (Double Tree)that had a bar and restaurant. "

"This property was absolutley amazing and beautiful. The horses were great neighbors and very sweet. The cabin was so comfy and cozy. We kept a fire in the wood stove which made it even more cozy. We got married on oct 16th 2024 and this slice of paridase had us so relaxed. We saw the supermoon hunters moon, some shooting stars, sunrise, and sun and moon in the sky at the same time. "We had an incredible weekend at Hawkview Retreat as a group of old college friends + families. This is an annual trip, first time at Hawkview, won’t be our last. The house is exactly what you’d need in versatility, beautiful amenities indoor and outdoor, and a responsive + helpful host. It’s also well contained and safe for kids around the house. We will be back! "

"House was clean and comfortable. Host provided some special welcome treats, and also accommodated a last-minute request to stay an extra night. Property was plenty big enough for 4 adults and a dog. Loved sitting on the back porch. Property is located off a very busy and noisy road, so the only suggestion I have is to put shades, blinds, and/or heavier curtains in the front bedroom to block out all the car lights and reduce the noise. Other than that, our stay was great!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this Pottsville Home. We were stopping in for a brief stay on our way to visit with our daughter in college Northwest of Pittsburgh. We enjoyed touring Yuengling Brewery and had a nice meal in town. "We came up for a quick family visit and the townhouse was convenient to all of the locations we needed to drive to. It was super clean and very cute! I loved the book to show the historic home before remodeling. The Moyers definitely poured their hearts into preserving certain elements while giving it a modern flair. Highly recommend! "
