This recently renovated suite is for travelers looking for a quality experience without spending an exorbitant amount of money. This unit is located near the ever popular H Street, Union Market, and Ivy City- there is no shortage of places enjoy in the area.

All of your necessities are covered in this rental with a basic kitchenette and dining area to enjoy meals, and a cozy fire place and large screen TV just for you! **As a note, this is a basement rental which means you may hear noise from the individuals living above. The unit is well priced to reflect this minor inconvenience.**

The space
This brand new suite is designed with you in mind! The living room provides a great place to unwind and relax with a warm fire place and large screen television. The kitchenette includes a microwave, air fryer, stove top, and refrigerator. In addition, you will have sufficient space and cutlery to enjoy delicious meals throughout your stay. In addition, the unit has a brand new full bathroom.

This rental includes a trundle bed (2 twin mattresses,) and a brand new queen sized memory foam bed for you and/or your small group to enjoy. Please be forewarned the space is best suited for 2-3 people.

Guests also have a small desk area in the bedroom.

In addition the home offers:
- Free private parking
- 72 inch television w/Netflix and Hulu
- High speed Wi-Fi
- Close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, local transportation, and retail businesses including Target and Ross.
- ~500 square feet for you to enjoy

The property left a lot to be desired. The overall cleanliness was subpar. I understand when booking the property it was a basement but you could hear everything and a blanket blocking the doorway upstairs. The bathroom lacks a towel rack and the floor is falling apart along with no water pressure for showering. Outside, the yard was unkept and we were being harassed by flies so we had to buy bug spray. Overall, disappointed doesn’t cover it.

Overwhelmed is the best way to put this experience. My partner and I DID NOT stay in this place. The floor was visibly dirty throughout the “house”. The sink was disgusting, visibly not wiped down at all. The other side of the curtain in the kitchen area was full of bags of clothes and it was filthy.The biggest factor was the shared space that was not enclosed in the description of the rental. The separation was a door up the set of stairs behind a curtain and you could plainly hear the tv, dog and owner of the house upstairs. I am a 5’3 person and I could easily touch the ceiling without extending my arm. I didn’t take a photo because my anxiety was through the roof. As I said, overwhelmed. The smell of the dog obviously upstairs was very present. It stunk of wet moldy dog. This space is very much a part of the owners house that they close off the rent out when not in use

This property is perfect for 1-2 people. It is quaint, cozy, clean & the property owner was very responsive and gave detailed directions to park. When I arrived & unpacked, I can overhear two neighbors talking in a yard behind the property. They were laughing & it’s always a joy to hear that. Everyone I passed in the neighborhood were very nice. My only suggestion is to add a hook for the bath towel in the bathroom. Otherwise, my stay was great. Thanks again!
