"This is the sweetest renovated church that is bright and cheerful. Awesome handmade woodwork by the owner. Very well stocked kitchen and spacious rooms. A loaf of bread and sparkling cider were left for us to enjoy. And don't forget to ring the church bell outside! This is a must return for us."

"We had a great time. I have copd so the dirt road was not good for me, and the people an dirt bikes and four wheelers like to fly on this rd throwing dust. The cabin was so nice. I cant say i would like to come back, but i probably would if my husband wants to come back. Neighbors were so nice. The cabin would have been better if it was on a paved rd. I loved it, we had a very good time"

"Perfect views and space for two celebrating our 30th anniversary. The bed was surprisingly comfy and the crossbreezes through the small windows in the loft were lovely. We enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast at the outdoor picnic table watching the birds and bunnies and planning hikes for the day. We had everything we needed. Book it!!"

"You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. The clawfoot tub and fire stove make it especially relaxing."

"We had such an awesome week! It was everything we hoped it would be! The cabin is a good 8-10 minute drive from the road (the first gate) to the 2nd gate so take that time into consideration when venturing out because GPS doesn't factor it in. Our kids had a ball catching (and releasing) trout, creek walking, and just being lazy in the cabin. We also saw a family of wild turkey on the drive down from the house. Highly recommend and hope to enjoy this cabin again some time."

"😃 The cabin has comfortable bedrooms, a large living room with a fireplace, great for colder days! the kitchen has new utensils and appliances. outside there's a nice fire pit, great for hot chocolate and marshmallows! Excellent location and incredible river view. we love to stay in the cabin for 4 days, we'll definitely be back! Suggestion: a hot tub would make the cabin perfect! 😕deep cleaning in the bathrooms, watch out for spider web."

"Cabin is beautiful, as is the acerage surrounding the cabin. The kitchen is roomy with a table large enough to accommodate at least 10 guests. The kitchen is also well accommodated with everything you need to cook for a large group of people. Many hours were spent on the front poorch and the screened porch which are both charming and relaxing areas. Tammy was available by phone when we had questions. Our family throughly enjoyed our time spent at the cabin. We highly recommend this property."

"Beautiful location and off the beaten path. Take whatever you want to eat for the stay, cabin has well stocked kitchen. Fishing was so so for the first few days, then it was stocked the last day which improved the fishing. We were catch and released so there should be some for the next guy. Would go back"

"What an amazing cabin! If you are looking for solitude, this is it! This was a much needed retreat from the constant noise and light pollution of living near Chicago. So very peaceful and relaxing! The pictures truly don't do this place justice. So many wonderful details....and that shower! Hubs and I Loved it!!! If it weren't for the scheduled lawn maintenence, we would not have seen or heard another person during our two night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer! We would definitely stay...

"If you love peace and quiet, this cabin will be your happy spot. It's out of the way with its private slice of babbling creek, lush ferns, mosses, rocks, and birds. Very well appointed, clean as a whistle, and all wrapped in a wonderful porch. We ate lunch along the way at quaint 'Almost on the Lake' and did a simple pasta dinner and oatmeal breakfast for our one-day stay. If you have a novel or jigsaw puzzle you want to finish, there couldn't be a better spot. I can see bringing my grands back...

"What a wonderful little cabin, we enjoyed our stay so much. We spent most of the time relaxing on the porch and at the fire pit. Very peaceful and quiet area. Check in was easy and communication with the host was helpful and timely. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We would definitely return here!"

"This cabin is charming with an amazing view. The kitchen is fully stacked with utensils. Bathrooms and bedrooms have everything you need. Also, they do not show a ton of pictures of the loft, but it was an amazing play room for our kids. Games, mini cars, air hockey, bean bag chair. The only issue that I had was the road to get up here. It is NO JOKE! Make sure you have someone who is comfortable with this to drive them and possibly 4 wheel drive."

"This is a standard hotel. The Lodge name gave the impression that it may be something a little more, but it is updated, clean and nice. Beds were comfy and coffee was available 24/7. Location was ok, not too far from downtown. One drawback was it does have thin walls. They do provide a white noise machine to help I’m with that. They did have the best breakfast selection out of all the places we stayed this weekend. "
