"After being let down last minute on a previous booking we found this hidden gem last minute. The cottage was very well equiped with everything you need, had super comfy beds and a cosy log burner to warm us up after a days walking. And of course the hot tub...bliss!! "A very comfortable house with enough space for us all to enjoy our holiday (10 guests ranging from 2-72). It’s unusual to find a holiday house with genuinely comfortable seating in the sitting room and a proper dining table so everyone can eat together but Oaktree House has both of these. The rooms are all a good size and well set out. The garden is large and whilst not secure for dogs and errant toddlers it’s easy enough to keep an eye on them! "We had an excellent stay here. Beautiful property with plenty of space for a group of 8 of us. Including children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old. We made use of the swimming facilities on site. Mary is a lovely host. Who answered all of our questions promptly . I would not hesistate to stay here again "

"The cottage is superbly located to the village. We went on an organised Doc Martin tour which was good fun and very informative. The house was spacious but unfortunately the sheets on both double beds were stained, which was not great as after a long journey, we were very tired and had to sleep on top of the beds for the first night until next day.
