"This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks, and the beach house was perfect for us. It is located right in the middle of the island - halfway to the Sound, and halfway to the ocean. "HipNautical is a wonderful find! Sitting on the deck you feel as though you are right on the beach! The house was very inviting with a lot of little touches that arent provided in other houses - a sweet welcome gift, kitchen supplies, toilet paper, kleenex, and even flashlights for the beach at night! The streaming services were also a welcomed surprise and tvs in all the bedrooms was really nice. Vicki was very communicative throughout the duration of our stay. I would definitely stay here...

"Great cottage steps from the beach. Location was perfect! Size was perfect for our family of 4. More than enough space inside cottage and great front porch and back porch with dining table. Very clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen. Some things could have made the stay easier/better: not providing linens means a lot of extra things to pack; beds not the most comfortable; no curtains so bedrooms get very bright very early (not great for the littles). "

"The cottage was overall very clean. It was a little dated. The biggest thing that I had was there is hardly any parking can’t even hardly turn your car around, but the owner was very responsive. Very nice and very easy to deal with overall the cottages very nice and for the price I would stay there again."

"Nice location. Nice room. Mattress and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Fire alarm went off at 7:02 am for 10 mins. We all came outside and no one gave us any instructions. We waited and returned to our rooms. Also there were little bugs on the floor. Needless to say no luggage or bags were left on the floor. But then again, It's a beach hotel! Very nice. "
