"We enjoyed the space for the weekend visit to town for a wedding. It was clean and had a nice area to relax and socialize in the living room. Also had prompt messages from the owner for my questions. "

"We would have enjoyed our stay if it was cleaner. Spider eggs, cob webs and dead flies in cabinets. We aren’t very picky, but the place was not very clean."

"First off, the listing is not accurate - it states "5 bedrooms", it's 3 bedrooms, a sunroom and a loft. As well two bed pictures in the listing were not in the space we rented - this should be fixed. One of the "queen beds" was actually two box springs and a 2 inch foam piece - not even remotely useable. The kitchen is well equipped, but when we got there 2 of the 3 pot lights over the sink as well as the light over the stove was out-we replaced what we could. The space is large for sure, but...

"Our family really enjoyed our little getaway and the cottage was perfect for us. It was secluded, quiet, and clean. It had a rustic feel outside, and a newer updated feel inside. The cottage was supplied with a lot of little things that you might not think to bring, but were readily available for use."

"The house wasn't in perfect condition, but it was well furnished and we had no huge problems during our stay. We couldn't key in the door unlock code, so we had to wait for the host to call back, and explain where the key was hidden. The 2 kayaks were nice, but we could only find one paddle. The steps down to the beach were rickety, but not dangerous. The deck furniture was comfortable, and we enjoyed having plentiful bedrooms and showers. "

"Nadine and Andrew have done an awesome job renovating this small 1920s cottage at Kintail Beach. They managed to honour the historic background of the cottage and provide modern conveniences at the same time. I stayed solo for the week and it was blissful. I'm retired and in my 60s. I spent all my time on the covered front porch or at the beach. The community was quiet and friendly. The forest around the cottage is magical and listening to the waves 24/7 was lovely. "We enjoyed our week long vacation with our extended family including our senior parents. This cottage is beautiful, clean, airy with comfortable beds. The beach was only a 3 minute walk and was just beautiful. We enjoyed so many sunsets that week! Kincardine has some really unique shops. Janine and Conrad were super hosts. Neves and Fritz family :) "
