"What a location! Quiet and picturesque. Spent most of our time on the beach at the fire pit. Easy access to the Dublin Market and all the fun a great lake and the Manistee National Forest has to offer."

"Perfect location, house and property. Will be back. One of the cleanest VRBOs I have rented for its size. Kitchen has more utensils, pots and pans then a Homegoods store. If visiting in the winter heed the instructions and park at top, if you do not have 4 wheel drive and snow tires you may not make it back up the hill. "

"Great place, everything as they said it would be. Mike is great, reached out via email several times to check in and immediately responsive. Weather was unseasonably warm, love sitting out front and soaking up the fall sun!"

"Lakefront neighborhood located in a detour zone, but a quick call to the owner (he was responsive and helpful) clarified the location for us. Great property, exceptionally comfortable. A wonderful place to bring your fur-babies for a get-away. I highly recommend this property! "

"Loved the property! Tucked away and very private. Home was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen is very well supplied for all sorts of cooking. My party loves fishing, and being right on Hamlin Lake was a huge bonus. We spent a lot of time fishing down at the dock. The property is located on one of the shallower ends of the lake, so you have to fish through weeds and be prepared to catch smaller fish. "It was a very cold off season stay, but the house met the match. We enjoyed the period details (early 1900's) along with the modern updates. Handy to have streaming available with large TV (no beach or swimming that time of year). Matt was responsive to us from start to finish."
