"The view was stunning but the property needs some attention. The property was extremely cold on arrival and we were too scared to use the gas fire after reading the reviews about it having a possible gas leak. Two lights in the main area did not work - we used the free standing lamp until it started smoking one afternoon! The sofas were so uncomfortable we actually sat on the floor - this really needs addressing. The curtain in the second bedroom broke on the second day when we went to open...

"The location was idyllic and a very good disconnect for the weekend. The dining area was perfect for a large family group and there were plenty of spaces for everyone to either be together or to find some privacy when needed. Carol was speedy to respond to any queries and even left a lovely gift basket, as we were there for Mum's 60th."

"This is a wonderfully quirky and fun experience which I highly recommend. The burgers at The Little River Inn were also wonderful, as was the breakfast at the little River Cafe. We would happily have stayed longer. Love the toilet and shower, plus a comfy bed. The only issue was there was some slight difficulty in getting the TV signal, but really it was just a beautiful experience. "

"This home is beautiful and very accessible to the town of Christchurch and surrounding attractions. My children loved the pool and the kitchen was very user friendly and spacious. The only complaint was that there were not many hangers in each room and limited towels.
