"Zenith Basecamp is one of the most intelligently designed and built hostels I've ever stayed in. I've been traveling the entire world extensively since 1993, and stayed in many hostels. I took my daughter there for her 6th birthday recently, as a launch pad for hiking and rockhounding in the North Shore. Fitger’s has a classic, historic vibe and the beds were comfortable. The coffee was good too. But for the price, I expected more. Breakfast was only granola bars, which felt disappointing, and the place feels dated in ways that aren’t entirely charming. It’s fine if you want the landmark experience, but I’m not sure what justifies the cost."

"It’s a clean and modern hotel. The staff greets us pleasantly and thanks us. Customer service is alive and well there. The breakfast is tasty and the coffee is great. Comfortable room. "

"Very clean, updated/modern hotel. Loved the larger fridge in the room, option for cooking on the stop and dishwasher. The only negative I would say is breakfast should be offered a later in the morning. It ended at 9:30. Other than that, great stay!"
