"We really enjoyed the central location and the opportunity to stay in such a charming canal house. The house was spacious and well equipped, and the hosts were very helpful. The stairs weren’t an issue for us but anyone with mobility issues might find the flights of stairs challenging. There were no negatives - we were just surprised that there was no shower gel and a few drops of hand soap left in the dispenser on arrival. We ended up having to buy our own and leaving it for the next person....

"The studio is just pefect with everything that we needed for our stay and near transportation, shops, restaurants and the museums. Edwin and Karin were very nice and availabe, and were expecting us to welcome and explain everything in the studio and surrounding. It's like a 3rd floor with very inclined steps but if you want to stay in a typpical Amsterdam house this is mandatory, and we quickly get udes to it. "René war ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Auf Anfragen wurde immer sehr schnell geantwortet. Er hat uns einen zeitigeren Check-In ermöglicht, was sehr nett war. Die Wohnung ist großzügig und vollständig eingerichtet. Eine eigene Waschmaschine befand sich entgegen der Beschreibung nicht in der Wohnung. Aber es war möglich, die Wäsche bei René abzugeben. "Appartement propre et très bien équipé, mais vraiment retiré, avec toutefois une petite boutique pour l'essentiel le premier jour car arrivée tardive. Appartement très grand, chambres avec 2 lits simples. Nous y sommes restés 3 jours, le premier (vendredi) sens bruit mais les samedi et dimanche les résidents de l'appartement au dessus n'ont cessé de déplacer des meubles, soit ils déménageaient soit ils faisaient des travaux mais c'était insupportable. "We used this a our main base for touring the Netherlands. It was near Amsterdam, slept 7 easily, roomy enough for us all. It was tough to speak with anyone with the accomodation before we got there as to how each room was stocked. Lots of dishes and cutlery. Nice and close to Volendam to walk into town and stroll. If we go back would use again. "

"The hotel and facilities was excellent. The staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast and our evening meal was delicious. The room and the views exceeded our expectations. Using the hotel bikes to get around was great fun and quicker than walking. The area around the hotel was quiet and felt safe. The bus was a short journey from Centraal Station and there was a good frequency of services. Overall, a fantastic stay at the July."
